@pxdfover I'm fairly confident that the closest you'd ever get to training with JTF2/CSOR would be a joint training mission between countries where multiple branches are all involved doing their own little thing. I don't think special forces are usually present during these style operations though since they're usually deployed on their own for specific things and train appropriately.
From what friends that have gone through training have said, closest you get is the same base. Different areas.
yes they both CAN operate special operations but the difference is that about anybody can be in the CSOR... but not in JTF-2... there is a long mile between both, I am a vandoo myself and some of my friends went for CSOR and it's not that hard, I myself wanted to go but I have a normal life outside my military life so I passed... on the other hand JTF-2 is a total different world than infantry or CSOR, people in CSOR claiming they are as good as JTF-2 members are douche bags, simple.
@JDFS22 Not anyone can be in CSOR... You still have to serve in the regular forces for three years prior and also be accepted after applying which isn't exactly easy. JTF2 is the same way but generally top-tier special forces units will only recruit people on recommendation or because they have an amazing military career history and exceed all the requirements.

@Northernsharpshooter well its not written in stone but since CSOR was formed the JTF2 has recruited all its members from there from that time, it does help that JTF2 trains CSOR. Unless your from another countires Special Ops your chances are slim as hell since CSOR is next in line to the JTF2

I was just saying you could apply on your own like most people do. I'm not sure where people get that they recruit people themselves. If they do these recruiting drives etc are kind of pointless.
