Obama is only trying to make it so that when you get your arm chopped off you can get it taken care of without costing you your other arm. Yes, obviously that's going to cost money... That's what taxes are for. I'm not a mathematician, but let's say they apply a federal tax strictly for medicare at 5% for all purchases excluding groceries/food. That's 305 million people at an average household income of 50,000... Roughly $760 billion a year. Looks good to me. Just don't cry about paying taxes.
