Yet another dissapointing release by square enix, Final fantasy died after 10 , its just to care bear baby girl crap fuck rubbish now , la de da we are all pixxy like and magical. Woopty doo, sure the story will be ok but the game play is now just... not worth playing. Cloud , squal, zidane and tidus is were it was at.

I have an Xbox 360 and i hate that as soon as they brought FF over to Xbox they took away Turn Based Combat which I really loved in FF titles since they changed it so much it doesnt seem to play anymore..i wish they'd at least give you a choice to play in turn-based ways but oh well... :(

@sentinental If you want to buy a final fantasy, final fantasy X was really awesome! Great storyline and a turn-based battle system. It has a sequel too that was just as terrific as it's predesessor.

@sentinental The Game play and style of them change drastically from one to another. Lot of FF fans argue about what is the "best" one. But Final Fantasy 5-8 are considered the "Golden Age" of the series, with FF 10 getting a lot of fans too since that was really when it tried to reach mainstream audiences.

Xenogears made by the same company was also similar to them. But with a very dark plot. it was like a fantasy that became sci fi character story. Lord Of The Rings on steroids.

@LichKingLives I've never played it, so I can't make a locked opinion, but the trailer seems boring, and it got horrible reviews. FFXII is actually very deep in sub-quests, and even has a story within a story. Though you don't care, I'll fill you in.

A young prince recently only used as a puppet, bending to other's will, has been feuding with his higher brother. They go on a quest seizing the Empire and many other fiends and judges, on a quest to overthrow him.

@LichKingLives Okay fine, I exaggerated a bit. Final Fantasy XII wasn't exactly GROUND-BREAKING, but it was a damn good game. I finished that thing til the end, and it makes me mad when someone claims that it's a horrible game, without even ever playing it. I agree, VI was much better, but it's really over rated. And no, XIV looks awful, and I've never heard of it until I bought Icons on Dissidia 012. But I guess you have a point, with Balthier being the hero. Name 1 example of Vaan as a wuss.

@LichKingLives Sorry if I misspelled milestone, it was a typo, I'm only human. Also, Vaan is a very heroic character in the story despite the fact he has no powers of any kind. Then again, that just makes it even MORE heroic of him. I'll agree, Cloud, or even Squall (Leon if you will) would win any day. All I am stating is that Vaan is an under rated character who needs to be noticed a little more, that's all.

Solution: Keep an all human cast with different jobs to choose from like in the original Final Fantasy, or even better, use the jobs from FF Tactics.

I would have liked to have seen them go away from the races in FF11, and gone with something a bit more classic, like say :Human, Nu mou, Banga, Viera, and Moogle, like in the tactics games. The races just aren't very original. I know Human is a staple, but Elves are over used. The Mithra are just really sad replacements for the Viera. Tarutaru are no where near as cute as Moogles, and the Galka are not as cool as the Banga. Plus, I would have liked to have seen an online kind of FF12

Like the cinematic, but the thing that doesn't make sense are technology use by characters. The world itself have a society that had projectile weapons (guns/cannons) to be install on giant machinery, and yet infantry characters still uses ancient way of fighting. Like there's not even a single one seen using a gun or a rifle type weapon.
