This was a beautifully hacked game. I played it all the way through (I don't want to spoil anything) but I can say that it's full of interesting new levels that this SM64 veteran couldn't stop play and exploring. I give the game an easy 5/5

you have the correct rom, but you need to go to the settings and change something to 4mb to 8mb, i forgot wht, but if i remeber i'll tell you,

Like as the many Super Mario World (snes hacks) there you must also use the original (us) rom.

Most SM64 patches are in the .ppf (playstation patch format). You can use PPF-o-Matic 3.0 to apply them to an extended rom.

In theory, nothing is impossible. However, we are a long way from replacing samples in the game.

I'm not promising anything, but perhaps I can change the pitch of Mario sounds so that Luigi sounds a bit different.

You'll need a Nintendo 64 emulator, a copy of the Super Mario 64 NTSC (US 1.0) ROM, the Mario 64 Rom Extender program and a PPF Patcher to apply the patch into your ROM.

When released, this will be ONLY distributed as a patch. It's very simply to apply a patch using PPF-o-MATIC 3.0.

I cannot extend any SM64 US ROMs, and I have the ROM Extender program. Do you know why? Also, is it possible to just make it a ROM, and not a patch?

Make sure the ROM is not commpressed in WinRAR or anything. The ROM should be 8MB and 24MB when extended

You just need a good ROM. Usually it will be named Super Mario 64 [U] !.z64. I won't distribute ROMs, just patchs.

All of mySM64 ROMs are that name, but they don't extend, is that because I didn't uncompress the ROM? Also, does Toad's Tool 64 work with both PAL and NTSC (and did you make this on a NTSC or PAL ROM)?
