I Really do respect your views. I myself have pre ordered the Vita in the UK and this has rationalised my thinking - previously i had worried that it may fail. To be honest, my PSP brought me 100s of hours of gameplay as a child who had yet to immerse himself himself into the logistics of the gaming market. Vita's launch titles were basically u.s popular titles.. Japanese have there own taste in games... Apparently there is going to a monster hunter vita game due for release which in that case i guarantee the vita will jump in sales .
I think the Vita looks cool (sticking with my 3DS though,I'm a BIG Nintendo fan.) Though I feel like I should tell people that the Vita is not proper HD,it pixel resolution is lower than that of a HD pixel resolution.
@Majorasword64 Correct. BUT it's resolution is known as "QHD" which is Quarter High Def. Not full as some may think but its screen is still stunning, as well as the strongest handheld machine out there.

And downloadable retail games. The Vita is so far ahead of the 3DS in so many respects, it's almost worthless comparing the two.

The reason why sales are important in this industry, is because company wont make games if the console its not doing well, and since there are many of the important companies came from japan its why put the vita on a dificult position

But when I look at the systems overall, the PS3 kills. Personally, I like the PS3 controller much more than the 360. The PS3 also has a web browser (it sucks, but it has one); the PS3 has a blue ray player; the PS3 has a better interface (much more simple to use); & the PS3 is more customizable. 360 has Gears 3 though.
