i have almost the exact case, exept the case doesnt say epiphone (its made by epi tho) and its not raised or leather, no, it will no fit with a strap

Okay I believe to the ear you can't tell the difference between a gibson and an epiphone les paul. It is all about the amp, when using an electric its amazing what you can do. I have a guitar that was bought at wal mart for 80 bucks, plugged into my marshall with some digitech effects. you'd swear it cost me a fortune.

But that aside. I have the exact guitar! the ultra 2 same color and all. And my brother bought me that case for christmas, it totally rocks. I love that case!

i bought a epiphone les paul classic red which was 300 dollars, a line six spider 3 that was 70 bucks, a wire that was 12 bucks, and a strap that was 9 bucks. All the guitar center threw in was a discount on the strap. Mother****ers.

I think this is actually the case made for the raised-top guitars? Thus the outward curve on the outside of the case. The LP one's slightly different. I guess it doesn't make a huge difference though, this one looks like it REALLY does the job. :o

Excuse me if im wrong, but i think you forgot to include it has a locking key, idk if yours does. but my sg case from the epiphone had one, so im guessing the les paul does too. its an amazing case guys, dont cheap out on something else. get this one

I brought a second hand Gibson les paul and got a Westfield case thrown in on the deal and it fits like a glove! About £60 though. My only moan is that I have a big leather strap and it wont fit inb the case!

A Gibson Les paul has all the same dimensions as the Epiphone counter-part. So it will fit... But if he has the money to buy a Gibson, Why not buy a gibson case?

When I got my Epi Les Paul Std from a Gibson store down by Nashville, it actually had 5 clasps-one more on the back side opposite the bottom one on the front. Obviously you aren't lying about yours, but they have gone one way or the other with it. Also, the faux leather is nice, but be careful as too much rubbing on something course or any halfway sharp edges can tear it easily. Great case though.

it come with a key and a lock on one of the latches,

ir your looking for a secure case to keep people from breaking into it, i wouldn't suggest this case, as it's just a little lock thing you could easily break with enough force.

Yesterday i bought mine for an eclipse and it was about 100. I got it free with the guitar tho. So, i suggest you order it online, lol 30% is alot. My only complaint is that Its almost impossible to fit a leather strap in there with the les paul jammed in

thats true, youre not gunna fit any type of strap in this thing, its purely for you guitar, and nothing else, you might get a thin strap in the compartment, but not a leather one. lol
