Grace like a river, can you imagine or even fathom the mercies of God? He gave us grace to be saved grace to love him, and grace to receive his love even while being sinners. That's pretty selfless....God saw us as inherently wicked creatures, gave his son who knew no sin to become sin, then to top it off he died for us taking on the sin of the world rose for us so that we could have freedom. Then he decides to sit at the right hand of the God to intercede for us to receive him....amazing!!!
