Ok, just be sure to finish your series on linux music editing before trying anything dangerous. If you hurt yourself I'll have to go back to giving tutorials to my friends. :)
@MarburyIntermedia: Haha, thanks for the concern. Then next 3 or 4 Arduino tutorial on fireworks have already been filmed. I filmed them over a month ago and I was just waiting for it to get closer to the 4th of July. I also only really mess with Smoke Bombs and Sparklers. Nothing that will really hurt me. Although, I may try and make my own smoke bomb. I just need to find a place where I can try it out with out my co-workers showing up :)
@drewmaster74: Yes, I now know that a transistor is what I needed. That is what I was going to show next week. Thanks for spoiling it for everyone. 9volts is not need. The 5v off the board is enough.

to fix your problem.... Add a transistor base to D6 and collector to smoke bomb!
the other side of the smokebomb wire gos to 9volts and emitter gos to ground.
USE 6 "D" batteries to get your 9 volts. chow!
