There are a number of states that have nullification-like legislation (the more the better!). Virginia and Missouri are such states. The problem is that most states (including the one I'm in now) have punishing income taxes of their own and like a drug addict, have become completely dependent on them.
Florida, Texas, Wyoming, Washington, Alaska, South Dakota, and Nevada have no state income tax.

The real question is; why is anybody paying anything at all? I don't want to sound too mean here. . . @DillonDee1 Very aware. But even if they paid they're fair share of taxes, it wouldn't even put a micro dent in our overall debt. The only thing that can save us now is if by some miracle the congress employed the military to seize the assets of all the bank and corporate elites that got us into this mess and repeal the federal reserve act. Looking at the whole monetary system, I'm shocked at the audacity of it all. It's literally set up to rob the common folk.

While the IRS taxes income, towns tax people, regardless of income, so if you think you own that home that you paid $500,000 for over 15 years of your life, think again.. lose your income? Lose your 'paid off' home to tax collections!
Fighting the IRS legally means having no income. But you cannot own a home in America, so you have to pay 'rent' to the town. So you have to earn money and pay the IRS too.
