Racism stinks at this gym, a lot of people experience it and said nothing. went there like the class but the owner and some people there is just such a jerk, i am so thinking about removing my membership.

bu i went to this place on caldor plaza ..... the place name is studio ayo

and let me tell you never seen nothing quite like that .

you have to check that place  !!! the instructur name is DAMOLA

Sorry for flying off the handle, gayle. Kind of had a bad day! I understand where you are coming from. This has been an issue a lot lately. Zumba has become a freestyle dance class in a lot of places rather than zumba.

This is so not Zumba! I'm Zumba certified and have been teaching for 2 years....and this is not their music or their moves.

gayle..get a grip. zumba instructors and their insecurities! Geeze. You are allowed 30% your own music. He is using zumba moves and music. And FYI..you don't have ot use zin at all! You dn't have ot use their music! Just has to be 70% latin and a mix of rythms! I don't know this guy, but dang it irks me the zumba instructors that feel so threatened!

Not threatened at all. The only Zumba moves I recognized was the Zumba shuffle (sort of),  and a front/back mambo. I love that all instructors are different and have their own style, but I see instructors posing as Zumba instructors (never even certified) and bring Zumba (or what they think Zumba is) to a gym. Usually it's not as good as Zumba, then it gives our program a bad name.
