Severely depressed that these guys broke up. It really upsets me. And just to comment, these guys aren't a Christian band. They just propose the idea of the possibility of a God. Several of their songs actually go back and forth as to whether the bible, and religion in general, is teaching us the right thing or not.

This song TO ME is talking about how he knows he should be a good person, but he feels that he has plenty of time to repent and do that in the future.

In fact, if you listen to the words and know what they mean it's pretty obvious. Hate to break it to you guys, but I don't think this is a christian band. Amazing song though no matter what!

Actually, they're not a Christian band at all. Ryan Hunter, the lead singer is a Deist. Also, the lyrics are not "I'll start to live when I'm dead," they are, "I'll start to worry when I'm dead."

I agree that we should give God respect, and you ARE right. But I don't think that this song is meant to disrespect Him. I think that it is more there for him to say that some people claim to love God, but never follow His Word. They just take on the title without the responsibility that comes with it.
