  • can anyone tell me what is the point of this shot? is it just showing off?

  • @eznoob1v1 - the bowler tries to stop the batsman scoring by bowling at his legs and cramping him to limit his stroke. By swapping hands the batsman has turned the shot into an easy drive.

  • @LiamXaoh but how does he predict it happening before it is even released

  • @eznoob1v1 - looks like he planned to do it from the start. Not all bowlers think deeply about their attack plan and I assume that Warner was prepared to take the risk. Batsman have to attack the bowlers any way they can.

  • 15 dislikes WHAT WERE THEY WATCHING!!!

  • anyone else get here from hilltop hoods?

  • Its a switch hit. End of chat.

  • TONY IS THE WORST COMMENTATOR

  • can he bat both left hand & right hand???

  • i was referring to the comments to the people who were acting like it had never happened before. notice i didnt address it to you

  • @mr44richie notice the apostrophe between the r and s

  • @mr44richie read it, it says WARNERS

  • Comment removed

  • @DCSpyda16 the uploader changed the title moron

  • @mr44richie and I was supposed to know that how???

  • Not really a reverse hit, considering he changed his hand placement to a right handed before the ball was bowled...

  • Had to change the title

  • Type up David Waner reverse hand 6 vs india then u will see how good he really is!

  • @dreadking75 Look at that video on my channel

  • Reverse pn drive better than most people can play it

  • He did this and hit a 6 just recently :D

  • bakwaas saala, shot of a lifetime kis chutiye ne likha hai //

  • a bowler can change hands if he tells the umpire first. nothing stopping him doing that.

  • overrated player

  • I cannot believe some of the commentators these days are saying that it shouldn't be allowed. They say if the bowler cannot change from right to left arm then why should the batter be allowed. Hello the bowler is allowed as long as he lets the umpire know first. Also they wouldn't look as good doing it as Warner does when he changes hands.

  • he got a six from reverse swing b4

  • he hit a six like that in T20 against India this yr !

  • you've been "WARNERED"!

  • what a shot yr

  • he did this shot again last week...went for six...and michael slater crapped his pants

  • he did a better one against india last night in fact he did the exact same thing but hit a six nice video

  • He beat it about 5 hours ago XD

  • this isnt really the shot of a lifetime, warner does this pretty often

  • @jaydendrums111 about every time he bats :)

  • good shot but switch hit shouldn't be allowed in cricket, unfair to bowlers fielding settings. bowler should be allowed to bowl underarm or keep switch bowling hand if this is alowed. T20 ruining cricket and fuk IPL

  • @singhinderjit95 It isn't unfair to bowlers because not everyone can do it. Don't underestimate how difficult switch hitting is , you can count the number of players who can switch hit on one hand. If you're a left hander but good enough to slog it out of the ground right handed , kudos to you.

  • @MrJakobBrown yea, you're right

  • @MrJakobBrown good point

  • @MrJakobBrown It won't be unfair to the batsmen then when the bowler changes to his opposite hand midstride then?

  • @pizt Haha , you're telling me a right handed bowler can bowl a decent delivery with his left ? Almost impossible , even if a bowler was allowed to do it , he wouldn't attempt it.

  • @MrJakobBrown I know people who can, it's the same principle, if it's okay for the batsman it's okay for the bowler.

  • @pizt Impossible , you would lose your pace , you'd lose your line and length. If anything , you're asking to be switch hit for six haha. If i was a batsman , i'd love a bowler bowling with his opposite hand , just saying.

  • @singhinderjit95 I disagree, switch hitting is really hard and creates a lot more chance for a wicket, I don't think bowlers would want it outlawed as they will get wickets off batsmen attempting these shots.

  • @Swandiggety agreee

  • @singhinderjit95 bowlers can use variation, slower balls, bouncers in and out swinging deliveries. Why cant batsman? if bowlers want to bowl with the other hand let them, the switch hit is a great thing for the game cricket, its great to watch and is very entertaining when it comes off. Although, in my mind it will only ever be acceptable in T20 cricket.

  • He can play as a right hander too,,

  • hes egoo my goodness

  • @soljer4u like another person would say there is a reason David Warner, along with Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi are the three best batters in T20 cricket, they hit the ball the hardest and are rated as the best.

  • @Illidanisdead There some of the most deadly i would have a few of them in a best 20/20 batsmen but there not the best 3 in the world

  • absolutelt cant stand this cricketer

  • @soljer4u Because he's one of the best t20 players in the World?

  • bwahaha Tony Greig... maybe he's a right handed golfer or something.

  • Pietersen's switch hit was 10 times better and thrilling than this over-rated shot :x

  • @abhishekn2510 I believe a drive along the ground, splitting the gap takes more skill than a slog. Anyone can slog a ball with the right timing.

  • reverse aaaaaaaa, reverse strike through mid wicket, there is no name for that shot :P It's "Warner Shot"

  • @MyJalesa He did a better "Warner Shot" tonight haha

  • @MyJalesa he did this shot on wednesday just gone but it was a six :P vs india

  • rewrite the batting textbooks! a new shots has been created, the reverse drive haha

  • Warner is a legend.....

  • that is very cleverly played

  • W O W!
