lol dude are you an idiot, just do what Death Said it happens all the time, it sounds like you dont know anything about electronics and sound a little retarded too lolbut do what death said
recovery mode....hold the PS3 button while off and when it turns on with 2 beeps to enter mode.....
as much as I think Sony is a bunch of morons....this is pretty much your fault and not really theres, corruption of hard-drives happens all of the time, for a variety of reasons, ALWAYS back your shit up if you want to hold onto it. It happens to PCs too...don't act all fucking surprised when the only way to fix is to delete everything (assuming it has come to that).
yeah theres a scret recovery mode. just look for it on google. this happened to me two days and I managed to fixed it in ten minutes. just type in ps3 secret recovery start up in youtube. anyways once you do this pick the third option that comes up which is restore system data and you wont lose ur data. And then make sure u back up ur data on a flash drive or ipod, etc.
You should have backed up your data for times like this. The PS3 makes it very easy to put your game save data, pictures, music etc. on a usb flash drive or external hard drive. So how can you talk about suing Sony because your harddrive failed and you didn't backup your data. My PS3 is 3 years old now and my PS3 data is backup on my external harddrive for not IF but WHEN something like this happens. A hard drive has moving parts and can fail at anytime. Learn from this and backup your data.
YOU can always use the secret recovery mode which is one of my videos that you could watch. Just make sure you click restore default settings and restart system when you do it. Anything else will erase all the data. If that does not do it i don't mean to be mean but you will lose 3 years of games. It happened to me trust me i know how it feels.
You buy another PS3 and then start the game again xD
