This is amazing, this brings my head to a whole new level and I'm going to think of this speech everytime I go to train. I want to be a SEAL and I want things to be hard. I'm 17 and started training this week and would die to become a SEAL.

@goofeykid19, He's not talking to U.S. Navy SEALs, he's talking to guys in his "Extreme SEAL" group that pay to go through his indoctrination of SEAL training. He is a former SEAL that runs a bootcamp style of training to get people ready for the SEALs or just instills confidence and and adventure for those who don't want to enter the military. Look up "Extreme SEAL experience" on google and you'll see what he's doing.
Personally, I think this video is fake not because I'm a troll or anything but his under shirt should be green and in the back ground theirs lawn chairs, on the left which I don't know what those would be doing on a military base, and third when he said "let's doing this thing" at the very end I didn't hear any body moving/ shuffling around and/ or yelling/ hollering.. @MONSTER5Ti Yeah it did. It got renamed "United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group" (DEVGRU). DEVGRU sounds cooler than SEAL TEAM 6, in my opinion.
Only the Marines do not have a JSOC. Army (Delta Force) Navy (DEVGRU) Air Force (24th Special Tactics Squadron)

@blackout15243 Yes,Navy SEALs are exclusive to the Navy just like Rangers are exclusive to the Army. It is possible to join another branch and switch to Navy and qualify for BUD/S, but there are certain steps to take. A Navy recruiter can tell you everything you need to know about how to get into the BUD/S pipeline.

@NatedogJR Seal Team 6 is basically DEVGRU. They just change the name to make sure that the media, terrorists, and hostiles don't catch on. to the HQ without water of food and not get detected. Regardless if you get detected or not, you will then be tortured for days on end, if you crack, you fail selection. After selection, the SASR candidates have a daily contract meaning thay can get kicked out at any time. They have to go through a reinforcement cycle of 18 months, fail 1 day and its over.
The real BUD/S training is suppose to last 6 months and average of 4 hours of sleep a week, and only 10% of it is physical and its mostly mental, All of this according to the Video in the first SOCOM game, Yea i dont think being a SEAL is for me...
@minimii15 the 4 hours of sleep a week is only for Hell Week, standard training goes from 0600 to 1800 and yes most of it is physical. Each individual task asked is not that crazy, the reason people fail is they get out of the moment and start thinking about- wow, do I really want to do this for another four months? for another four years?

If you don't like this, or, other videos of any kind, don't watch them; and, certainly don't "click" dislike. @MONSTER5Ti Yeah it did. It got renamed "United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group" (DEVGRU). DEVGRU sounds cooler than SEAL TEAM 6, in my opinion.
Only the Marines do not have a JSOC. Army (Delta Force) Navy (DEVGRU) Air Force (24th Special Tactics Squadron)

Im 15 and i already decided i want to become part of the SEALs and trust me im not the teens that just says that ive honestly never wanted something more in my life. My friends laught at me and tell me i cant do it, it gives me more of a reason to try but it makes me feel bad cause they dont know how bad i want this. The SEALs are my heroes and im hoping to become one in the future. It wont be easy but im not gonna quit if i make it to BUDS.

@blackout15243 Yes,Navy SEALs are exclusive to the Navy just like Rangers are exclusive to the Army. It is possible to join another branch and switch to Navy and qualify for BUD/S, but there are certain steps to take. A Navy recruiter can tell you everything you need to know about how to get into the BUD/S pipeline.

1- You cant compare SEALs/ Army SF / Marines. Different kinds of units for different missions. Dont be stupid. Apples and Oranges.
2- Talk all you want. Most guys that claim they want to be SEALs/SF, join the Navy/Army and just being a regular Sailor/Soldier is more than many of them can handle.
3- Most people that talk about SEALs/SF havent even MET anybody that is/was a SEAL/SF. These wannabes have just read alot of books and watched the movies.

FYI for everyone out there, the SEAL's have the highest fatality rate out of all the SF groups if I remember reading that correctly. Also only a handful of people make it through the training out of the 700 or 800 that go to become SEALs

I actually wanna be a SEAL for the right reasons, 'cause I wanna serve my country, I wanna be with the best, and it is a job I'd like to do. I've been watching every video and reading every book on the SEALs and I plan on going on all the way. I will never back down to be a SEAL I want to serve my country and make sure that every person in our FREE land has the ability to be FREE. @NatedogJR Seal Team 6 is basically DEVGRU. They just change the name to make sure that the media, terrorists, and hostiles don't catch on. It was called Seal Team 6 in the early 80's and then change to Naval Special Warfare Development Group or DEVGRU in the 90's. They will probably change names again because of recent actions.

to the HQ without water of food and not get detected. Regardless if you get detected or not, you will then be tortured for days on end, if you crack, you fail selection. After selection, the SASR candidates have a daily contract meaning thay can get kicked out at any time. They have to go through a reinforcement cycle of 18 months, fail 1 day and its over.

The Delta Force training is easier than the Australian SASR training.
Heres the comparison:
Delta:
Pushups, situps, 2 mile run (3.2 km), 100 m swim, 29 km navigation, carrying 18 kilos, 64 km march at the end. How pathetic!
SASR:
To even be qualified for selection process:
Pushups, situps, 4 km run, 400 m swim after 2 min treading water.
On actual selection course:
every day they go on 20 km marchs, in the end, they drop you in the middle of the desert and you have to walk back

The real BUD/S training is suppose to last 6 months and average of 4 hours of sleep a week, and only 10% of it is physical and its mostly mental, All of this according to the Video in the first SOCOM game, Yea i dont think being a SEAL is for me...

@minimii15 the 4 hours of sleep a week is only for Hell Week, standard training goes from 0600 to 1800 and yes most of it is physical. Each individual task asked is not that crazy, the reason people fail is they get out of the moment and start thinking about- wow, do I really want to do this for another four months? for another four years?
