I find it amusing how I'm doing my Petrol Station Competency Training at my own Morrisons store in South Wales, and my manager told me to search for videos from this store... Quite educational on what a petrol station fire looks like, actually...
@natabang It's written in the comments somewhere but who knows for sure? We were just in the right place at the right time to get it on vid. Didn't think at the time that we were actually calmly strolling past something that could've wiped us out at any second. Stupid of us. Lol, only just realised that you're Natalie that works next to Cammy :P never spoken but I know of you. Thanks for the comment ;)
i worked at petrol station of 25 years touch wood nothing ever happened. the staff are trained well its the bloody customs that's the problem they have got no idear !!!!
They are not using water. You never use water to fight a fuel fire, it may be used to cool a heat affected area or extinguish secondary fires but not fight the fuel fire. At 5min 12 secs you hear someone talk about 'brown stuff', that is foam concentrate before it mixes with air to give you 'fluffy' finished foam. And all front line pumps carry foam concentrate, induction tubes and 5x foam branches.
an irrelated and not particularly offensive personal insult by someone who has neither seen nor met me cannot possibly offend anyone.
Your ridiculous comment about "frying chips" on a video of a serious and potentially fatal fire was not funny, and you only topped it off by making light of said situation in your offhand and humorless joke.
This is on what I based my judgement of you as being an idiot. What you said about me, incidentally, is simply not true.
I work in the morrisons petrol station johnstone and the company was called eurotank who do our servicing and they came out to do our pumps not long after that incident, beleive me, i was terrified when looking out the window as they worked !
what caused the fire was some polish guys working for a maintenence company were pumping out a petrol tank to clean it and had run the suction hose through the van, they were using the wrong pump and some vapour escaped. One of the guys put on the interior light and the whole thing went up.
bizarrely the company won a health and safety award two weeks later.
I asked a fireman bowt an hour after it was put out and he said that it was a small explosion that started it, he wasn't exact but there must have been something in the back of the van. Again, sorry for the bad quality. Thanks for commenting.

You need to get a decent phone mate.

Nothing wrong with my W810i "mate" the quality is much better on the actual phone, I don't know what caused it to become jerky on YouTube.
