@MsNinjaPigs make sure they put lots of numbing gel on the gum, then wait a little while before the shot..then all you should feel is some pressure..

@kitkat3304 Elisa said it's not too bad....make sure you are completely numb when they start working on you..she said it was a pressure feeling mostly.....not fun by any means, but not as bad as it looks!

@SheBringsGospel If you are really terrified, they should put you in a twilight sleep, or nitrous gas....have never had a tooth pulled myself, so I understand your fear!! Elisa said it wasn't that big of a deal though..

@RainbowRoan lots of problems... her palate being too narrow and teeth coming in way too crowded on the upper and lower....these are corrected by moving the teeth with braces while the trouble areas are being expanded with ortho appliances..

a milk tooth normally falls out on its own... and they are not as strong as second teeth especially at 3yrs old... that dentist took far too long to extract.... nothing to do with speed....

@terenchion1 this baby tooth was growing in an area of her mouth, that was not affected by the emerging adult tooth, so the normal root erosion was not taking place..it would have stayed in there from now on...my 53 year old friend still has one baby tooth, because of this same situation...

@terenchion1 this was an experienced male dentist, and he did a good job...the baby tooth was not being pushed out by an adult tooth like it normally happens..this baby tooth had a long, secure root, and was in there tight...it took a while to loosen it up to get it out...

@cupcakecrazy02 make sure you are completely numb before he/she starts....then it won't hurt, but will just be a pressure feeling...afterwards your mouth will be sore, but they will give you meds for that...good luck! it's worth it to have a great smile!

@Chony2000 Don't worry, sweetheart. I just had my first molar removed today. And it's not bad, trust me, after they put some topical anesthesia which is the numbing gel on your gums you won't feel a thing and it's all good from there. My appointment took 5 mins and I was a little scared, too. :) But now I have no regrets.

@loulou36985 no let me tell u wat happns:first the dentist puts numbing cream on the tooth.wait a few second for it to set in,then the doc gives the injection ,it takes like 10 seconds,it only pinches a bit.the doc waits a few minutes for the injection to set in.the the drilling starts it does not hurt,only pressure.if when you get the drilling and it hurts tell the doc.he will probably give u another shot.that does not hurt at all.when he is done he putsfilling and cleans the tooth.thats it!

@violet1197 They just sit you down, And give you a little needle which doesnt hurt atall, Its liked being poked :L, And they get like thes pliers and wiggle it and till it cracks (Like a loud snap), and then they pull it out, literally NO pain atall!... Ask for painkillers cause it will ache for a little while later on !

@Sgtmayfield yes there are needles..the vid just under this one shows them numbing her tooth...it depends on who does it..sometimes it hardly hurts, then other times it's like a pinch..make sure they use a lot of numbing gel on it first, THEN the needle, or it will hurt quite a bit..good luck to you!
