Grandpa is not around anymore, and today's sundogs are not like the ones grandpa use to see. These are no longer a phenomenon! we see them every day. The reason we see them on almost a daily basis is due to the Geo- engineering/ Aerosol program which has been in full swing for about 10 years now that I've noticed. The concentration of chem-trail dumps as they spread give way to halos and sundogs amongst other anomalies. Take note next time you see them spraying, heavily you will surely see this
I saw sundogs as I was driving through Massachusetts last weekend....I had no idea what they were, so I did a little research (including finding your video) and posted a brief video of what I saw while driving. Thanks for informative video!

We know very little of our earth and even less of the universe. This type of phenomenon is truly remarkable. I can't even possibly imagine the astonishing and fascinating wonders that the universe holds. *sigh* if we focused more on Space Traveling and less on TV, Cars, Sports, Making Money, Being Popular, etc, maybe someday we'll get off this rock.

What causes a complete circular rainbow that is about 1/2 of the sky around and lasted from approx noon till 4:30 in mid-summer with almost no humidity. in Indiana.

Sun dogs are caused by extreme high level ice crystals floating in the atmosphere. I can happen in warm climates but that is very rare. They are frequent in the early fall skies in the North. Trust me, when you work a top buildings, you see many abnormalities in the sky.
