Maybe it's just me, but this song never sounds as good live as it does on the album. It's a shame cause it's one of their heaviest songs. Its needs more Richie and less David Bryan in the mix.

I'd have to agree. Besides the backing vocals, Jon is always jumping around too much to really sing it. The problem is that on the album and especially this song, Bob Clearmountain layered the hell out of the gang vocals, using soul sisters and all kinds of stuff to the point where it couldn't be replicated (not that I'm complaining because the album sounds awesome). This is better than most that I've seen though.

I started the video, thought exactly the same thing 20 seconds into it, and then read your comment. Bryan is brilliant, but this song is very heavy. Apart from the intro and the quiet parts, this just needs a guitar that's cranked up on 11.

I absolutely love watching this. It reminds me of how I was always glued to the TV any time Bon Jovi came on. It didn't matter if it was a video, an interview, or what.
