Yo this is powerful. Peace from Philadelphia, my homie from Seattle makes my video and its sick to hear what the NW is doin w/ hip hop. Check my channel man I think ya'll would like it.
Heres a list foward from this song for clarity: 1. Seattle 2. Iran 3. Greece 4. Michigan, USA (the teachers strike) 5. Algeria 6. Morroco 6. Yemen 7. Egypt 8. Libya 9. Syria 10. Colorado, Florida, New York, Chicago, Ohio, and many more They call these unrelated instances, but I call it an uprising.
IM A KID FROM SEATTLE WITH A LITTLE SKILL AND HUGE PASSION FOR HIP HOP, HELP ME GET MY NAME OUT THERE AND CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL. I KNOW IF YOU LOVE THE BLUE SCHOLARS FEEL GOOD PASSIONATE MUSIC, YOULL BE A FAN OF MINE. SO much love- illin'
It has been a Police state for 50 years here. I'm 51 F Human and I give the Police a very wide path. They are unpredictable and violent by nature. Kinda like someone high on Crack that went outside by mistake (always is). Green Acres is the place for me... out of their jurisdiction. Peace. Lesson #1. Stay away from crazy people with guns especially the Police.
you guys realize this is about the "battles of seattle" the protests on november 30 1999 against the world trade organization convetion in seattle? not the egyptian protests?
I love the blue scholars. Geo's lyrics and Sabzi's production alone make them one of the best duos out there, but the fact that they use their music for a positive purpose makes them the best. I actually just started rapping. Hopefully I can try and do the same. I'd love it if you guys took time to check out my page, and tell me what you think! thanks guys. Take care!
@cockledoodledooable Protest activity surrounding the WTO Ministerial Conference of 1999, which was to be the launch of a new millennial round of trade negotiations, occurred on November 30, 1999 (nicknamed "N30" on similar lines to J18 and similar mobilizations), when the World Trade Organization (WTO) convened at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, Washington, United States.
@SciPhen3030 hahaha no, it reminds me of the may day immigrant worker's march. it's not as intense as N30... but still, somehow this makes me nostalgic.
this shit is beautiful. this song was playing in my head ALL day, and I couldn't concentrate in class or have a conversation with anyone.. I wish I could just sit in my room all day and listen to hip hop allllll day every day. that'd be nice. so much love for blue scholars, long live DOPE HIP HOP <3
Song gives me the chiLLs everytime i hear it....I was Peaking on shrooms laying on the beach when i had this in my headphones..The result was an out-of-body experience..changed my lifee...Blue scholars all day
all the way from cairo, egypt i had this song on my ipod during the egyptian protests, can relate so much to this!!! i love blue scholars!!! true hip hop, power to the people!
Seattle has become a breath of fresh air to the underground scene. Blue scholars and common market, in my opinion, have produced the most original and appealing rap sound in a long time. A long time hip hop fan will appreciate what is coming out of Seattle/Northwest. Dope beats + intelligent rhymes = a can't sleep album. Much respect to the Scholars!
I respect Blue Scholars because they play real hip hop. It's nothing like Lil Wayne or other mainstream "hip hop" artists. Their songs have such strong meanings expressed through poetry and simple, but effective, instrumentals. You don't find many artists like the Blue Scholars, and I am thankful I found such inspirational artists.
Agenda 21 For Dummies, Shadow Government Part 1 of 9 (2009), Rik Clay & 2012- RIP 1/9, Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy from Project, Red Ice Radio - Freeman - Pt 1 - Space War, Norway , Alan Watt -- Hear voices inside your head?, (Part 1) Indigenous Native American Prophecy, Fluoride Deception Part 1, Jordan Maxwell on JFK and Abe Lincoln , David wilcock 2012 enigma... Thanks for you thirst for knowledge
I strongly recommend watching: money as debt, freedom to fascism, ring of power, 911 mysteries, viberation creates form, behold a pale horse, 2012 enigma, esoteric agenda, anthrax war, endgame, Jim Marrs the 4th reich, the polarity matrix field, Graham Hancock - Quest for the Lost Civilization, Michael Tsarion - Architects of Control Program, Tom & Jerry Illuminati Pyramid, The Celestine Prophecy, 911 b4 911- The Lone Gunmen, Think Free : Bursting Bubbles of Gov, ALEX COLLIER at the Camelot...
I cant even begin to show my respect for these guys. I have literally listened to this song no less then seven times a day for the past two weeks. Not even close to being sick of it. This is quality music. right here. unlike other rap songs... this is why im hot has nothing on 50 thousand deep. Its inspirational. goosebumps everytime.
