i love youre videos;) but in response to this video i just have to say that i understand where you are comeing from, although i know that if i were not a Christian i would have more questions unanswered.
and one more thing. I am not gay but am not surprised that more homosexuals are not atheists, giving the beating they take from the man written books and beliefs. At least your on the right track now.
@Ricky7Odriosola You dont need to be homosexual and hate God for that. Many people is changing by God from homosexual to normal. Really!. See this: watch?v=tRlD9VpqqY8
@mobiledev I'm sorry but I just needed to reply to this. First, I don't hate God. I can't hate something that I don't believe exist. Do you hate unicorns? Fairies? What about those pesky werewolves? I didn't think so. Secondly, no one is "changing." I'm going to share a little tip with you; homosexuality is not a choice. If by changing you mean, suppressing real feeling in order to fit into mainstream society and feel like your doing "right" in the eyes of your God, then yes that is what it is.
@mobiledev Lastly, you stated that God helps homosexuals change "to normal." What the heck does that even mean? Normal? It's 2011 buddy; go catch up with the times.
@JRockRustyX I'll do that. I love your interpretation of being Christian. And I truly wish they were more like you. I'm just taking the Bible as it is; I don't like to cherry pick.
@Ricky7Odriosola That's all I ask. Again, I'm not trying to convert anyone. All belief comes from oneself, don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. It's up to yourself and God whether or not you accept the truth.
Even as an atheist, pray (or at least clear your mind) before reading the bible. I know it's hard, but don't let any personal thoughts or feelings get in the way.
Don't trust what pastors, bible scholars, etc tell you, not even your own judgement of the bible before reading it.
@smurfboywv It's easy. I've done it my whole life, even after being "forced" into religion. Many people have it all twisted around, and aren't teaching what was originally taught by Jesus in the gospel books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
They often used tactics infused with religion like requiring the performance of rituals, circumcision, etc. to keep order in society and government.
Some folks still practice this, as it's tradition to their culture, government, and religious teachings.
@JRockRustyX I agree with you 100% but you don't listen to man, you listen to the Bible. Of course man has twisted the Bible, people who call themselves christians love to condemn gays, even thought they have no idea what God's plans are. Its obvious the Catholics are demented, they have child molesters in the church. But myself, I'd rather believe in God and find out he doesn't exist, than to die not believing and find out he is real.
@smurfboywv I know, I realize that now. I'm a new true believer, so I finally get it.
Before, I was all about pleasing people and becoming the "best." I knew a lot about Christianity, yet I didn't even believe in God. Many "Christians" were a huge turn-off since they treated those who weren't "Christians" like lesser beings.
So, I figured I'd rebel since it was easy to do. I did what a lot of my friends (who were harsh, prejudiced atheists) were doing, and I didn't care if it was wrong.
@smurfboywv I am being sincere, and I would never joke about religious beliefs or atheists.
I put the quotes, because most who claim to be Christians aren't. They don't follow Jesus's teachings of compassion and acceptance of people, and they apparently don't understand why Christ took the sacrificial atonement for our sins.
Anyway, by rebel, for example, I started to try marijuana and abused it, because all my friends at the time were doing it, and I didn't care if it's good or bad.
@JRockRustyX I know marijuana has many benefits like medicine, so if used responsibly, I don't see a problem. However, I used it to get high and I got bad side effects as a result. Even if all your highs are positive experiences, you're still clouding your mind and judgement, and putting yourself at risk for being taken advantage of.
God knows this and why you do it. He doesn't want to punish you from having a good time, but to warn you of the dangers of sin, which causes needless suffering.

I call myself a Christian, but I don't believe in the concepts of organized religion like Catholic, Orthodox, etc.
I don't like how many think of religion as having to jump through hoops to conform to a standard that "impresses" God.
I believe more about the introspect of oneself, showing compassion, and develop a loving relationship with God and all people.
Outward changes come from within
I know you've read the Old Testament, but if the spirit moves you, try reading the Gospels again.

How can you say all of those things about God when you 1. don't believe in him, and 2. don't know him as your savior.
