I own the first G35 with LS2 swap and I'll tell you why I went with the Ls2. Reliable. Goodluck with you little 6 cyc. I've been there and built motors they are nothing compared to the way my G35 is now. The only people who talk all this shit about being a waste putting a V8 in the car are people who are jealous.

@donjuaning Not hating but I bet that LS2 is not making over 450whp which is what the typical is. If you R going to swap in a V8 it should be a beast not marginally better. I make 450whp at mid boost why do I need a V8. Sound performance sell a 900whp short block for 5k A LS short block rated for same will cost abt the same. To each their own though. No more a fan of that 2JZ 69 camaro even though it makes 1000hp

Do what you want however stupid have at it go get your 370whp ls2 and pay 7k for the swap. So you can beat a stock 350z by a couple cars.

@donjuaning ou miss the point entirely. LS2 h/c/I exhaust tune 4k and 450whp not including cost of engine swap and wiring so lets say 10k all together. If money doesnt matter then go ahead and do LS9 then the power out put would be worth all the trouble. I have a total of 5k engine/performance mods 442whp 423tq 60% boost. 100% boost you can find out if you ever do your imaginary swap and make it GA. BTW the word is "jealous" & I never hate.

BTW my mid boost number is what C6 Z06 is making on the dyno with your precious 427. Like I said get your swap done stop talking smack post some vids of it then if you are in the south lets just line em up and see. It's that simple. BTW my car came NA so the 5k includes swapping in the turbo version.

honestly, as much is id hate to own a 350z, (since they are found at every street corner, not cuz it isnt a nice car), i would totaly own this one or one like it with an ls2 motor, dont see that everyday
