2006 Mustang GT Convertible 0-145MPH 233kph Acceleration

It is a stock motor and 5spd trans...running a Vortech supercharger with stock pulley (9lbs boost) 3.73 gears and that is pretty much the only performance mods. The highflow exhaust is Flowmaster 40. She was tuned to 451 rwhp thanks for looking.

dude that fucking mustang is quick!! i thought i herd a supercharger on it am i correct?? you are no where near stock.. i know becuase my buddy has the same year mustang.. coupe.. he has slp stage one exsausht, k&n c.a.i , diablo tuner , and hes getting a throttle body this summer.. he ran a best of 13.4 so far... but this is much quicker..

ur stang is vert so it comes with 3:55 gears, i love mine

Its a convertible, so the noise is the convertible top with wind rushing over it at 130 plus mph. I didnt even hit 5th gear....scares me when I try and take it over 150....so I just don't do it, and only for a sec because I dont want the tires heating too much and popping. This Mustang is currently for sale!!!

@brownocasio hey man quick question, I'm fairly certain I'm getting a Mustang GT but the whole time I was thinking coupe. Then I thought of how cool it would be to have a badass convertible. Is there much difference in track numbers between coupe and convertible and how does it feel to drive?

@wideopen704 The verts are about 300 pounds heavier than the coupes so therefore a little slower, but being able to put the top down and just cruise on a clear, nice day is just awesome. Especially at night with the stars in full view above, the Vert is the way to go in my honest opinion.

The rev limiter I beleive was set at 6250 ish...not real sure.

She was rollin for sure but not sure what the top speed is I really don't want to go much faster than 150mph its dangerous enough to 145 but I would love to know what the top speed would be for this Stang, given that it can get to the top of 4th gear with ease. I still had a whole other gear to roll through if I wanted too.

wat u reving out too? try a higher rev limit(assuming forged internals) and u'll drop back into a better power curve for your centri

nice. if i'm not mistaken even with "granny shifting" u took about 17 seconds to get to 145 so im guessing you pushing around 450 to the wheels

I think the 0-60mph is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3-3.4 seconds...what do you all think? DAMN I am impressed this car really responds well with FI!!!!!

The noises you hear is the convertible top fluttering in the wind. I babied it off the line and when going into 2nd to keep from breaking traction. I wonder what my Top speed would be??? I still had the whole 5th gear to go.
