Hi everyone! It feels like ages since I posted this video but it's only been a few years. Josef went into remission 10-01-2008 and thus far has been super healthy needing no medical support or transfusions! My husband is a regular donor due to our experience and we continue to spread the word of how important it is to donate blood. It saves lives so thanks to all of you who have been so giving with your donations! God bless. (p.s. I'm working on an update video.)

I almost passed out when I tried giving platelets. They didn't even get enough to seperate it from the blood -_- I can donate whole blood though. Go figure.

I've donated blood for years because I know it is the right thing to do, but watching this video has made me realize what an incredible impact my donation is having on someone's life. I didn't donate much because I don't have much time. but I will donate more!

hey. i looked up videos about donating blood because i signed up to do it at school. the red cross comes every year, and ask the highschoolers if they want to, but they need an id. and have to be 17 yrs or older.

I signed up to do it because only 3% of people donate blood. and one person can save 3 ppls lives. i am TERRifEd. but my little brother reminds me of your son. if i can save 3 ppls lives. i consider that an accomplishment. thank you for posting this video

healthy adults can donate blood every 8 weeks, platelets 24 times per year, and plasma once a month. Have you saved a life lately? donating blood only takes approx 30 minutes from start to finish. You can do it on your lunch break even

I was looking up Anemia (because I have it but just the red blood cell kind, not all 3 blood) and came across this video. Thank you for making it! I can't donate blood myself but really appreciate all those who have as I have needed a lot of blood transfusions myself .. but not as much as that little boy! Your video really shows the importance of blood donation. Thank you so much!
