this most likely uses the kinect camera to map the dancer's in real time. Its sort of a double edged sword that technology has simplified things like this for artists. It makes this type of art easier to produce and therefore more widespread, and perhaps it just opens up more doors for creativity. Im on the fence over whether that is a good or bad thing. I think its pretty apparent though that a lot these artists try to keep their particular tools a secret.
OMG. This is incredible. Now only the light and video...but the dancer's choreo is really good, and perfectly timed with the music...and perfectly in tune with the light changes. I am so impressed by this, I can't even describe.
hi...im an local artist and i've been trying to do the same thing n i jus couldnt figure out how did u project on ur objects separately...and ive used everything...i used kinect n ps3 eye n Opentsps -processing+QC for interactions...but i could understand the technique u used for projecting!
Hi! I am so curios about your creative process and execution. Did you used frontal and backward projection? With video projection or light only? Is there a sensor that project only on the dancers body? I really liked your work!
nice
