  • Bravo bimba.

Io sto studiando il etude 17 di Sor.

    Cordiali saluti

  • You played beautifully, Costanza! You really let that melody ring out as it should. And the bass or accompaniment did not suffer from that. The fierceness of your tone reminds me of good old Julian Bream. Now that is a BIG compliment!

What did you do with your hands at 1:50? Were they cold, or what? Breathing in my hands makes them damp, so it will be much harder to slide my hands or fingertips along the strings or neck, so I would not recommend that.

    Have you considered playing Villa-Lobos?

  • 1:50? ;-)) i guess, the fingertipps needed some lubricant from the nose wings - i do so playing nylguts (or guts) on the theorbo with the right fingertipps and the thumb, when the strings and fingers become too dry and strings can squeak (also some harpsichordists do so, when one plectrum has too much friction at the string and it´s no time or screwdriver for an adjustment)...

regards to the excellent player - Siegfried

  • @hminkema well my teacher who has a doctoral degree from eastman breathes into his hands, i do too and it helps me play better

  • Ti seguo sempre con grande interesse e devo dire che i tuoi progressi sono strepitosi!

Hai la chitarra nel sangue !

  • ciao Costanza, sei bravissima! Perché non scrivi la scaletta dei brani che suoni nella descrizione. Spero di ascoltarti presto.
