  • r35s r legal in the U.S. its the r33's and r34's that arent and im not sure bout the r32s

  • Ryino123 r35 is legal here in america, but the r33 and r34 from japan with the drivers side on the right u have to get those specially resisted or its illegal to drive them. its kinda like the veyron has to be specially registed

  • o nice rele?

  • these are still rice rockets haha go to germany find the real cars BMW FTW

  • bmw sucks, the only one thats good is the m5/m6 but they still lose to the cadillac CTS-V that only cost about 60,000

  • @mazda6tuner99 i had to laugh at this,cadillac don't even come close to a m5.

  • Rice rockets ? You're saying a BMW is better than the R35 ? A stock R35 already owned the Murcielago. And I'm pretty sure the Murcielago owns any BMW. If your tiny brain can't comprehend this, it goes like this. R35 > Lambo > BMW. Got it ? Good.

  • OMG!!! I saw a Titanium Gray one the other day on my way home. That was the highlight of my week even though it only lasted for like 3 seconds -_-

  • that's what she said

  • LOL...to you

  • LOL

  • Just wait till they start tuning them

  • They have started to tune them. Soon there will be many more fast ones.

  • I have one. Check it out!

  • Like OMG, I wish it was a skyline so I could get posters for my room with assless asian girls that look like asian boys w/long hair.

Then I could jack off to skyline all day.

  • ITS NOT A SKYLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Its a Nissan GTR.

Where on the car does it say skyline?

nowhere. I PDI'd 2 of them already, there's no sign of the word skyline anywhere.

  • your right the r35 got rid of the skyline name

  • i think it shouldve kepts the skyline name but i guess its alright. wish toyota would keep the supras name..

  • dude its still a skyline at heart, they dropped the name doesnțt mean its not a gtr skyline

  • GTR!!!!!

  • skyline lol!!!!!!

  • you suck

  • jeee teee aaarrrr

  • wow, it's a skyline , they are all called gtrs,so doesn't matter

  • LOL thats how they say it in Japanese videos ^_^ Asians FTW!!!

  • it's faster than the viper, it's faster than the corvette, faster than the porsche 911, faster than the prosche carerra turbo, faster than any evo set out on the face of the earth. it's like fuckin ufo that's what's so special about this car.

  • cant wait for people to start trash talking skylines and comparing them to mustangs and camaros.. its gonna be a smack fest.

  • go to top gear...came in last for a drag between all the cars you listed. (cept for the evo)

  • wats so special about the Skyline? probably that dude got stuck with his domestic

  • Actually its 3799 cc and they call it a 3.8. The new GT-R engine is called the VR38DETT.

  • i dont get it if it was 3800 cubic centimeters, wouldn't it be 1496 cubic inches; which is way too big?

  • Your math is wrong.

One cubic inch equals 16.387 cubic centimeters (cc). One cc equals .061ci (cubic inch).

For converting cc's to cubic inches, the formula is: cc ÷ 16.387 = ci

The formula for converting cubic inches to cc is: cubic inches x 16.387 = cc

so One liter or 1000 cc equals 61.023 cubic inches

  • ya dude its simple e=mc^

  • exactly

  • Where did you spot it? Or is it yours? I was thinking about doing a RB36DETT swap for my old G35. I heard it was difficult but it could be done.

  • This car is owned by Jspecconnect . com . RB26DETT. I like the VQ engine. I wouldn't put an RB26 in it if I had a choice.

  • Thanx, I think i'll go with a TT set-up from greddy then.

  • All depends on your goals. The Greddy setup is ok. I like the APS setup a little more. Its a really well engineered kit.

  • APS huh, i'll check it out, thanx again bro.

  • I know that there are two customer GTR's out there (in the US) but how many are there touring car shows? I got to see on at the 2008 Nashville Auto Show, check out my vid.

  • Nissan has at least 10 cars here for press/car show/ and engineering testers here. At least that many.

There is an event coming up soon in Reno, the event Edmunds - Inside Line is headed to.

  • nice car [=

  • Walls won't get that thin with the 3.0L Giken or a even the RB28.. maybe the RB33 is cutting it close. Bigger problem imo with going too large a bore is rod-to-stroke ratio: the longer the rods are compared to stroke, creates a smaller angle between the rod and the verticle plane as the pistons moves up and down. The larger the angle between the verticle plane and the rod means a larger force on the wrist pin, which causes more load on the cylinder walls. But hey who cares about that right.

  • The OS Giken is sleeved with a deck plate, so I wouldn't be worried about the walls. On a 28 its normally 77.7 stroke and 86.5/87 mm bore. I wouldn't worry about that much either. I just don't like starting at 88 mm, because you don't have much room to move if you damage a bore. Unless you sleeve it you end up with a junk block.

I am well aware of RB combinations , its just I start at a 26 and move up, not down from there. If you want to turn revs , the 26 can do it, but then you have other..

  • Rb27 - Various Stroker Kits For Rb26

Rb28 - Various Stroker Kits For Rb26 With 88mm Pistons

Rb29 - Various Stroker Kits For Rb26 With 90mm Pistons

Rb30 - (multiple Ways) Nissan Stock Or Rb30e Block Mated With Rb20, 25, Or 26 Head (for Dohc Version)

    Rb31 - Rb30 With Rb25 OR RB26 Pistons

    Rb32 - Rb30 With 88mm Pistons

    Rb33 - Rb30 With 90mm Pistons

But you already knew all of these too right? Obviously the RB26 is the ONLY way to go because it's obviously the biggest, and biggest is best! Idiot.

  • Welcome to the world of copy and paste. Good luck to the guy runnning an RB33. 90 mm of piston doesn't leave much wall.

I don't like taking a RB26 block past stock bore. More wall means less likely to split a wall.

  • It's not copy and paste dumbass, it's called I have this shit stored in books (remember those?) and on my HD. It's handy to have factual information like that among other stuff when you actually own a Skyline. Not just put videos up of other peoples.

  • Lets talk about my videos then... there are a few of other peoples in there, that I won't deny. However most of them, are me, or shot by me.

I have 99 videos on here . Go though them if you want. 10 second yellow R33 - thats me driving. Taking my clothes off and running them over with an R33 - thats me. R33 vs WRX in the canyons above LA - thats me. R32 passing NSX, Z8 , 300ZX , thats me.

  • Wow what a wicked neato life you lead! I'm super jealous! I thought we were talking about engines, not how many other peoples cars you've driven.. this went from marginally amusing to immensely boring, and with that.. I'm out.

  • How can you make judgment on an engine from a car that you have never driven.

You think the RB26 is gods gift to engines. Its a good engine, but don't put it on too high a pedestal.

Your the kid that "thinks" an RB24 is cool. Its cool man, that RB24 will look great under the hood of your Cavalier. You are the same guy that emailed me about that right ? The RB26 swap into a Cavalier..I guess you couldn't afford a 26 so had to move down to a 20 and a 24 in your fantasy world.

  • No I own two 89 gts-t's and a 90 hatch that had the KA-T, has just a stock CA18DET in it for now (yes I could have gotten an SR20 I know blah blah). And talk about hypocrisy.. how many RB24 powered R32 Gts-t's have YOU driven? I chose to go with an Rb24 build because I had a series 1 rb20 sitting in my garage with a blown rod bearing all winter, and a friend of mine was splitting up his stock RB26 for cheap so why pass it up? I'm only aiming for 400-450whp so why spend thousands on an rb26?

  • I really didn't feel like spending 3-4k CND atleast on a solid RB26 just so I could say I had an RB26. I dunno, I guess it's not as important to me to be able to make that claim as it is for you.

  • Solid lifters. 8.58 mm lift intake , 8.28 mm liftexhaust. Oil cooled pistons. Sodium filled exhaust valves 444 cc injectors. Individual throttle bodies. All things people want in a 26.

If you read earlier, I said its all about displacement and BOOST.

There are other things of course. I have not looked or tested a VR38 head yet, but the VQ35 head stock flows better than a ported RB26 or 2JZ head.

Xtreme Race cars in New York did about 1400 hp on an RB26 , and about 2000 hp on a VQ35 .

  • I have only ever driven one RB20 powered R32. It was slow. We ran a test with Sport Compact Car, and it was slow like a Civic.

    I have driven about 75 RB26 powered GT-R's. A couple of RB25 powered 240's.

400-450 hp on what fuel with what turbo ?

  • Slow like a Civic? well now you're just trying to hurt my feelings. I don't know why people on hatetube can't ever take criticism without resorting to pathetic insults.

  • It was slow. A stock RB20DET powered car is not fast at all. I forget the exact numbers, but not that quick. I want to say it was high 14's to low 15's in the quarter.

An RB26 powered GT-R , we would normally do a low 13 - high 12 on a good day with a fairly stock car.

  • I'm not interested in arguing with you at this point, I only came back to say that you should visit Canada now, particularly Vancouver. It will give you an idea how big the JDM market has become here, as opposed to the States. Peace.

  • The 15 year rule has opened the borders up a ton as far as cool cheap cars. In the states we don't have that. Here its 25 years. There is no normal quasi legal way to do it. A few cars come but not many.

  • more displacent don't mean more hosepower, it means more torque though.

  • Since you are obviously unaware of the plethora of different RB series engines available...

    Rb20 - Nissan Built

    Rb21 - 80mm Pistons In Rb20

    Rb22 - 82mm Pistons In Rb20

    Rb23 - Rb25 Crank And Rods W/ 82mm Pistons In Rb20

Rb24 - (two Ways Known To Me) Rb26 Crank And Rods With 82mm Pistons In Rb20 Or Rb25, 26 Destroked With Rb20 Crank And Rods

Rb25 - (two Ways Known To Me) Rb26 Stroker Kit Crank And Rods With 82mm Pistons In Rb20 Or Nissan Stock

Rb26 - Nissan Stock Or Rb26 Crank And Rods In Rb25

  • oh and this was the same one at the past two cars & coffee shows right?

  • Yes. Same car that was at the last two C & C shows.

  • The Vspec model will be the tits upon its arrival.

  • That car in the US right now for $125k. Its a JDM, RHD car.

In June the US cars start at $69k.

  • $69k for a 997 turbo better not bad at all

  • so is this one actually available?

  • This is the car that is actually available right now. You come up with the cash, you can be one of the first to have a car in the US. Its a JDM right hand drive car , but some people want one that way. If you want to wait - June/July/August.

  • wow ! how much ?

  • that scared the shit out of me

  • i feel like i just saw a ghost

  • how much....?

  • Beast!

  • One please! :)

    Or trade an m3? lol

  • why is it so loud? Modified exhaust?

  • That car is all stock.

  • hmmm In all other videos it seems much quiter to me. Good video! I'd love to see some speedometer acceleration videos! Keep it up!
