I think this woman has an amazing voice, but needs to learn a more dynamic approach. It would sound so much better if she put more into it and the band stepped up after after the sax solo at about 2:08. The contrast between subtle and head smashing would be awesome.

@colmonic I completely agree. Girl has a crazy set of pipes, but a more dynamic overall approach would serve her better. It's all about her breathing, and not going full on chest voice all the time....

She's throwing her voice around too much. She wants to impress with her voice instead of the pain of the song. Whatever happened to great lady singers who had great voices - like Warfield - but knew how to settle their voices when necessary? Not overly impressed. I'm not feeling the song, only the vibrations of her voice.

hmm hate to moan bout this it's an amazing song with so much deep feelings when ray sings it as he had been there and still was when recording this. As much as olivia's voice is just stunning and it's a nice somg there is far to much playing around with the melody and wobbbling around it kind of detracts from the song :S
