actually the fight scene between Tim Drake vs Jason Todd was pretty ok.

Awesome review. I totally agree with almost everything you guys said. I didn't mind the black mask on top of the building while Gotham burned, I just wondered when it caught on fire. Yeah, I wrote a research paper about how superheroes have reflected the changes in our society for the past 70 years, and I can't figure out what this type of book says about today's world.

Well it seems that that page kinda reflects the sensibilities of some readers nowadays. They are looking for pretty pages and don't seem to care if they break up the story. Just thinking about it, Ultimatum seems to go the same route. Lets make pretty pictures and maybe tell some story if we have a few pages left.

Black Mask is blowing up buildings. Given the response to 9/11, you'd think this guy would get as much heat as bin Laden. Yet somehow I feel only one of the Bat-family will actually move to capture him whilst everyone else mucks about.

people dont use thought bubbles much nowadays so i just take it upon myself to interpret it as such - not even necesararily in that pictured moment.

sometimes if particular speech sux but book can be savoured, i just put some tape on it and rip it off quick to edit it.

I also agree i find the DC-U to be void of all but 20 characters with little society.

Never really liked batman comics- too CSI.

I would have changed up the roster: by dick staying as nightwing, Tim becomming the Batman, Jason as Red Robin, Damain gets taken and raised by Ra's al Ghul, Stephine Brown or Squire becomes Robin, then i would have done a comic on how this affects the Joker by no Bruce Wayne

I can't say I enjoyed bftc2 either (though i can imagine why it is in the top 5).

It would have been interesting if you would have touched the creativity of the concept in the review. The concept sofar is still very close to knightfall/prodigy. In fact, i liked the original one much better (that's why i can't get into this story).

We've talked about how BFTC is very much like Prodigal before, WeslyTT, which was another reason we didn't care for this 'event.' Much like the 'Superman in Exile' storyline that's going on right now, SSDD.

Prodigal did have its issues too, y'know, but still...

Worse comic of the year? Hasn't an issue of Hulk been releases since 2009? I can't imagine anything being worse than that book.
