heres how nero gets the devil arm, when his arm was recovering and he was fighting with dante for the first time, dante stabbed him with the rebellion in the arm, and the rebellion caused a reaction in his blood making the devil arm...

Nero is a completely new character non-related to the Sparda family. I read somewhere that the developer's wanted to make Nero look like Dante so that veteran-players got the feel they were playing Dante. The only way I can think of an answer for the whole "inheriting" Sparda's power is that since the cult experimented with demon powers, which may had affected Nero in some way...but that's just a random guess--I really don't know XD lol
