oh my gosh, this is completely true! XD The squirrel's here are freaking crazy! They think they're human or something. Me and my friend were walking down kemper and this squirrel came up to us and like got on it's hind legs in front of us, and we tried to walk around it and it followed us. Shaker squirrels definitely win the creepy award, but it's a beautiful community. I love the big houses and...yeah, i'm drifting to something different. Nice vid.

I'm from Shaker - same thing, my dad would feed squirrels nuts from the back porch, they would come right up to you. He never got it to take it out of his hand, but it would come about a foot away from him. I always thought it was cute.

The squirrels hopping around my BBQ dinner in the garden on 31 October were gone on 01 November when I suddenly had to shovel snow. we live on sussex in shaker heights. whenever my sister and i walk up to thorton, th squirrels dont run from you. they go up to you and it scares the CRAP outta me. instead of running, they come up and acted like they wanted to take you down and fight. my sister played along and started calling it names, but its like the squirrel heard or something and chased us home. instead of going home[we didnt want it 2 kno where we lived] we ran down van aken. shaker has some possessed animals...but i ♥ it

When we lived on Traynham Rd in Shaker we had a neighbor who used to hand feed the squirrels peanuts. It got to where the squirrels would attack us if we tried to eat outside on the patio. Then, they would try to get in the house where they would attack the kids. I finally solved the problem by borrowing a Hav-a-Heart trap from the city. I trapped one a day for about a week and released them at Geo. Forbes park. That solved the problem. We called it the Shaker Hts Squirrel Relocation Program.
