Nice! I have a CubCadet 4175. It is a 4 cycle trimmer with a 28cc displacement, 1hp, awesome low end torque. When I get some money, I am gonna pick me up a nice Stihl. It will be the FS 70 or one of them 4 mix ones. I like the 4 mix trimmers cause you don't have an oil pan full of oil, so basically you have all the torque and awsomeness of a 4 cycle and it runs like a 2 cycle :D

Never in my life have I primed any of our 4mix engines. They will start with choke and throttle just fine!

i put 1 pump in to mine and it starts in 1 pull and never stalls but its probley cuz its 2 stroke

Awesome piece of equipment, we just got a new one at work, and 4 days later it accidentally got ran over with a small utility truck, and the only thing that broke was the small plastic choke switch

@Doye2287 you dont know shit, pal. i work part time at a community colledge and we use stihl fs90r and fs100rx trimmers. they get the shit beat out of them day to day, and some idiots even put straight gas in them and run them wide open banging the rev limiter, but they still function brand new

Hi, I got mine today for $100. But it was used FS85. I heard steel blades are too dangerous to use on any of the weed trimmer. But anyway, will see how I can learn to use it properly, right now my arms and hands get shaky after 5 min. of use. its heavy!

yeah try heavy duty trimmer sticks, they last longer then spool wire and do a better job

all the priming does is get all the air out of the fuel system. you cant flood one by priming it

a 4-mix engine is like a 4 stroke engine, with the only differnce, that a 4-mix engine is lubricated by the oil added to the fuel and not like on normal 4 strokes by an oilsump.

Our FS110R and FS110RX Stihl trimmers do the same thing, prime it 4 or 5 times, and they'll start first pull everytime. I've yet to have a Stihl product disappoint me. Great video and awesome trimmer!

Is this a loghter model (in weight) compared to the RedMax series? I've found Stihl to be very heavy. Especially if you have a lawn care service. And you are doing several yards.
