It would be very hard to explain it in detail but it really is not that hard. Don't be afraid to jump in and explore everything. open up a terrain example with the wizard and then play with the camera and timeline. The more time you spend playing with it the quicker you will figure it out.
Hey, Thanks for viewing it and the rating. It actually only took less than a couple of hours at the most. I have a dual core dual processor board (compliments of my real job) and Carrara uses all 4. I have a better machine setup than I have imagination to use , unfortunately.
