If you beat the game already, Just go back to the list and do Media Blitz again, After that you will get the mission in the list it's called Piercing the shroud!

Yay, I had a save just before char where i was about 40,000 credits short of finishing the starship upgrades (started saving up half way through the campaign). Ill kill 2 birds with one stone.

u can play and unlock it in char, just replay media blitz in the "archives" (i think) tab at the bottom of the char screen, do this then u can play piercing the shroud (in the archives too)

what i did to get the secret mission was (after beating the campaign) replay media blitz, then go to the bottem of the list and select the secret mission. you dont have to restart

The zerglings are optimal, I tried all three, if you choose the zerglings, they will actually kill all, and leave 2 zerlings for you, which you can easily handle.

Zealots don't defeat them, and ultras will survive to own you.

@nageljeuk Ultralisks are the best solution, with 1 little difference, once you see them engaging, get in and start shooting with the dominion soldiers, they will be busy attacking the ultralisk so they won't fire at your men, you will greatly lower it's health before it turns on your units, and once it attacks, just place Raynor (alone with no one beside him) to attack the ultralisk and that takes care of it

Well, maybe if you want to leave your medics behind as they don't have stim. And without stim your marines and raynor are a lot slower than ultras.

Also, you don't have marauders at that point, you have marines, medics, and a jim raynor.

you can play this mission if you have/havent compleated the campain. its placed last in the mission selection if you get this mission after u play the campain through. u just select continue when u have playd it through if u deside you want to play all the 29 missions. then u select any mission u want to play. you can even play the missions u have alredy playd through if u whant to play them on a harder difficulty.

You're a lot better off releasing the zerglings instead of the ultralisks. The lings will take out all the terran forces and you should be able to mop up the survivors with zero casualties. With a little micro you can keep most of your marines and medics alive, that will allow you to call in the marauders for the last bit. Those guys make the level *much* easier.

thanks, so it was in the planet select on Bridge, I was looking in the mission archives select, I would have gotten fed up and only discovered it by accident when i went to just do the Char mission. For anyone else who thought "On Char" meant just being up to it and that was the reason you couldn't find it in mission archives (first run and i just did the Media Blitz out of Archives xD )

You don't need to start a new campaign. Just load the "All in Victory" save and do media blitz again, get the documents and after you do the mission, piercing the shroud will appear in the list.
