  • I still reckon the 70s and 80s PIFs are the most frightening...

  • this is a good one! It really gives people a kick up the arse and says: Do it! Or die?

  • Seriously, who puts a bike on the landing? That guy was an absolute IDIOT.

  • Oh, the humanity!

  • terrifying and what did the woman say i couldnt understand her.

  • @SaintsRow2Lover2009 something like "let me out, help me! *unknown*" at best guess =]

  • i remember i was actually scared when i was watching... now i'd be much more careful... i think the fire kills campaign actually worked... well, for me at least...

  • OMG THANKYOU FOR POSTING THIS!

I've been looking for this one for a long time! I remember watching it on TV and it scared me so much!

  • Yeah Likewise.

  • Lol, scary stuff.

  • Well, its not tat scary.

  • Well, I thought that it was pretty disturbing.

  • Did he shout "DAD!!!!"

Where do you get this video from?

    Gorillazforme.

  • What's that's noise in the image of the plugs burned with text said "make sure everyone knows what to do in a fire" and what did the old lady said when she shouted for help when she bangs the door and what's the noise in the 3rd when the man struggles and he falls and trips over a bike and what's the other noise in the 3rd burning bit says "Keep your exits clear" At the end, who's voiceover Make your plan, get out alive? Can you answer it for me please Applemask. Thank you, Gorillazforme

  • Random sound effects.

  • Are two children screamed for help?

  • No, the larnyx is screamed for help -- using an entire child to vibrate sound waves is not effective at producing a sound, let alone a scream.

  • I remember this advert in 2004, How will you get out alive.

  • I remember This Advert Back In 2001

  • FAO Applemask: The actual video of that PIF we are talking about has sadly been removed. Enter "Matches" into the search bar, and a recently uploaded video of it should play (eventually). The next PIF down from that imho is "Wake Up, Get a Smoke Alarm!"- the one where you see black smoke flitering under the wee girl's (who is asleep) bedroom door.

    Kindest regards,

    KK.

  • I remember there was one a year or so before this one featuring an actual fire fighter talking about a hose fire and how they found the bodies of 2 children in a wardrobe, were they'd hidden from the fire. It was quite chilling, but in a different way to the visuals of this effort.

  • "Keep Matches Away From Children" is the scariest pif! its on youtube somewhere. and also the cupboard 1 is equally disturbing!

  • I'm unable to post the link to the video (I tried but the message wouldnae post), but enter "keep matches away from children" in the search box - it should bring it up.

  • There was one with two children hiding in a cupboard at the end shouting "MUMMY!" I want to see that one, that was at least twenty-four times better than an old lady getting a bit disorientated. Children, for fuck's sake. Is nobody sacre...too far. But yeah, upload that one if you have it because nothing scares the British public like telling them they're killing their own kids.

  • This is just...not right!

  • You've never seen "Keep Matches Away From Children", have you?

  • I've seen so many online, I've lost track.

We don't have enough morbid PSAs in the states.

  • @Applemask Did you come up with that title for this video, because if you did it is very poetic and is a very accurate and apt description for what this video shows you. Almost lyrical and very intelligent wish i'd have come up with that title.

  • @liverpool1987nd Technically Dante came up with it. But thanks.
