The Beatles broke up just as George was really emerging as an equal to Paul and John.... Something - Here Comes the Sun - While my Guitar Gently Weeps... and right after they broke up Geaorge did a double LP with My Sweet Lord - What is Life? - Awaiting on You All... a very under-rated LP
@watever4201 Were you referring to my comment? If so, WOW, that was very negative and unnecessary! And you can see more than just the corner of the guy's head.
Who is that dude in the yellow shirt standing next to George Martin at about 5:31? Is that Eric Clapton? I can't tell. I know that he came in at some point to play on one of George's songs. "Piggies", I think.

@rickyfan3956 you are right about Eric Clapton being present on some of these sessions-in particular George invited him to play the lead guitar parts on: "While my Guitar gently weeps"; however the dude in the yellow shirt @ 5:31... is their recording engineer, you see him again at the console desk wearing the same shirt.
There is some very revealing comments by George Harrison in the background from 5:30 to 5:41. Harrison says, "There's no point in Mr. Martin getting uptight...I mean, you're very negative." Wow, what is that supposed to be all about?

Why dont we do it in the road.... What is that one called ive never heard it b4 umm ok <3 the beatles!!!!!! love paul (white and the whiter album!! lolz)
John plugged the guitar straight into the board I believe and cranked the sensitivity...I remember this because the studio guys were telling him to turn it down or he'd trash the equipment...they worked it out eventually but that's what i remember
The White Album, what an epic mess (genius). I agree with Paul's view "Shut up it's the bloody Beatles' White Album" I remember the first time I heard it (when I was 15) I couldn't sleep, so excited!
You know..I kind of have to take Paul's side, with the whole "It's the bloody Beatle's White album, shut up!" thing. |: I love George an insaaane amount, but I think he takes what he had for granted sometimes.. :/
el album blanco es el mejor disco de los beatles como dice paul es muy variado...tiene muy buenas canciones a pesar de q ya habian dejado de funcionar como una banda.
I totally agree, its amazing, Ive heard and seen so much new stuff on here in the last year. Its been incredible! p.s checkout my vids, loads of beatles acoustic covers
Oh, yeah - between the Director's Cut version of the Anthology from Beatlejuice, the "Paul Is Dead" stuff from Iamphoney, and the rest - this should be called "Beat-Tube".
ohh don't get me started on thepaul is dead shit... its freaking ridiculus!!!! and so stupid people are looking at the weirdest things and finding "clues" in them....they r all so fake and yet people still beleive its true!!
John may not have had a "technique", or may not have been a schooled guitarist, but he played by his instincts and from his heart, and that's what made him a great guitarist. Now, Lucifer, it appears you have a bad spelling technique - or is it "TECK-NEEK"!
The White Album is part of the reason I even like the Beatles. It was one of the first albums I ever listened to, and I was absolutely captivated by the whole thing-- especially part 1. I Will and Julia never cease to amaze me, definately two of my favorite songs. I like Monkey and the Revolutions, too.
this part makes me realise how cool was the White Album...yeah, maybe there were 3 or 4 "shitty" songs, especially from Starr & Lennon (Monkey & Revolution 1 cuz the single is way better),...but it is kind of legendary. If not their best it's however a masterpiece. and seriously, even if SGT Pepper is the greastest LP of all time, who dare to say it's the funniest to listen to?!
Pepper is a very funny album and I think it was meant to be. "monkey" is a fun one - some great guitar riffs on it, and Revolution 1 is another cool riff. I go back and forth between the single and album versions.
What I would give to be 70 today, just to have lived in those days...
