  • You're trying to get people to boycott the sponsors and rodeos, yet your "videographers" and "reporters" are buying tickets to CFD, eating, drinking and more than likely enjoying the midway when they aren't shooting your incriminating footage. So in the end, you're still supporting CFD. Thank you :)

  • @8luggertugger Don't eat the 'food' don't 'enjoy the midway'. There's nothing healthy or entertaining about any venue where animals are routinely harassed, injured and even killed for yahoo entertainment. For every ticket we buy to film and release the evidence of abuse, we hear from people daily who will no longer go or even go for the first time to a rodeo, therefore our tickets cost the rodeo money.

  • i know that but not only me but a frind of mine was in the ol cheyene and all i saw was guys helpin them

ya they get hurt but things happen and no thy dont get killed for it they help them i have seen it first hand

  • @redger10490 And our video proof shows animals being injured and killed for entertainment.

  • this is bull shit all there doing is showing the axadents there are not that many most animals make it just fine some times they get hurt

  • @redger10490 ""some times they get hurt"" And when nothing is done to prevent animals from being hurt, that takes the accident excuse out of the equation. It becomes indifference towards the animals' health and welfare.

  • this needs to end these people are crule.

  • i hate these people and i hope car-ma gets them

  • number 11 is dead...

  • BAN ALL RODEO S !!!!!!!

  • I went to see a rodeo but it was a good one no animals were injured and no one was hurt. It was a very fun rodeo. No animals were injured.

  • I wish the animals would show the humans a lesson!!!! Grrrr...

  • Truly "caring veterinarians" are very hard to come by. It's a profession where they have to protect their human clients' interest first, always. The animals' interest is non-existent. That is to say, it's either dead, or not dead. And SO Easy to replace.

    Great video, SHARK.

  • Omg. Listen at 1:26. that just makes me want to cry.

  • Does a broken horn hurt?

  • @Shazzy172 Yes, it's painful. The base of the horn is filled with nerve endings and blood vessels. Rip out a fingernail from the base, then contemplate that pain up near your temple and you'll get a good idea of the pain.

  • I dont want to be a cowboy anymore.

Sick as hell. Everyone talking about dog fighting and all that. There is no need to kill this never happend in the west!!

The sponsers need to be targeted not the rodeo. Take out the money and there will be no show, oh and the sick bastrds that pay to watch this shit. Keep it up sharkonline you will get to them :)

  • If animals servive do they get used again ?:,( plz say no

  • @XXBenitaXX64 Yes, they get used again as long as their legs can keep them up.

  • ckkillll all dat people ,,,just how they ckkillll them animals!!!!!!!

  • So these are "tough" cowboys huh??? It takes a "big man" to do these things to poor defenseless animals. I wish I knew how they can live with themselves knowing that they have caused the deaths of who knows how many helpless animals all for the sake of entertainment and to show what "men" they are. I don't EVER want to know ANY person like this.....

  • These arent cowboys there cowbitches, and are very cruel. I would grab there neck by a rope and drag them.

  • When cowboys rope a cow on the ranch, they don't do a DEAD STOP. They slow down and enough to not freaking kill the poor calf. Gah:( These people call themselves cowboys. You would think with team roping, they could just use a fake steer, like they do when they are practicing, but nooooo.

  • @MangoRoX87 Thank you. Your post makes a lot of sense, something rodeo fully lacks.

  • @MangoRoX87 That is so very, very true!! Cowboys on a ranch are in charge of protecting the stock. Rodeo used to be some friendly competition between ranches, to see who was best at their job (yes, JOB). These calf roping horses aren't just stopping, they're backing up and pulling the calf. Maybe it's time to go to judging the technique of horse & rider instead of "the fastest wins"...

  • all animals should atleast be looked at like come on that many broken horns all i really want is FOR 1 or 10 of those steers to jab the fucking abusers in the gut

  • this shit is all sick.. fuck those so called cowboys.. wish they would feel the pain !!!!!!

  • I definitly agree with you, this is animal cruelty and there is no excuse for it.

Though a sidenote, where is part 3?

  • @DecemberRegn Never got to it. We unfortunately work in a "target rich environment," meaning we have more video than we can get put up. We already have some of 2010 Cheyenne up, and will likely never get to all of that before the 2011 abuse in July. We work on a number of issues nationwide, and there just aren't enough of us.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Then maybe you can start a second account? That should work right? It is possible to have more than one account. I have.

  • @SHARKonlineorg It's not that. Someone has to put the video together, and those people are also working other projects. We'll do what we can.

  • number 20, i take it its neck was broken?

  • @weesophz93 Hard to say. The rodeo will not give out injury and death information about its victims.

  • BESTAS!!!!!

  • Does it hurt breaking a horn??

  • @XxXponyzXx Yes. The base of the horn is filled with nerves and blood vessels.

Think about the pain of ripping off a fingernail deep in the nail bed. Then magnify it.

And remember, an animal cannot rationalize pain, or seek immediate remedy. That's at the hands of the humans, and from what we've seen at rodeos, these animals are left to suffer.

  • I had to stop watching at 2.30. Absolutely sickening. Thank you for the work you do.

  • @MyPonyRox120 No, that would be too expensive, I guess they go to slaughter right away.

  • So stupid! Why in the world would they try and loop the back legs, while someone has the horns?! It pulls the calf opposite directions! Guess what happens then?...broken legs....no shit, it doenst take a genius to figure that out!

  • All those broken legs. Probably can't be healed, very easily could have been prevented.

  • They are running because they are scared. Not for fun. If you wer damned scared u would probably be ablte to run with a broken leg. even tough it hurts so bad =( FUCKING HATE THIS

  • Where the hell is the rodeo veterinarian among all these injuries? Shut down this damn event!

  • I would say every animal in all of the videos should have vet treatment

  • 100 years ago, cattle and horses were captured for the sake of necessity. Now these "COWBOYS" or "MEN", as they will defiantly defend, do it for "SPORT", or more precisely, "SPONSORSHIP". I don't know which is worse, that these cowards call themselves "MEN"? Or that they treat these animals with such bruality? I can't tell which is worse, can you? I dare any modern day "COWBOY" that does this for a trophy, to let he himself be "roped", then let's see if he calls this treatment "humane".

  • @wasitthat Their cruelty to the animals is definitely worse. Calling themselves 'men' is only words.

  • @wasitthat I wouldn't call these men cowboys or even men. The real men and cowboys are the ones who are out in the open range, rescuing animals from slaughter and danger, and without inflicting harm onto them.

  • fuck u america u stupid facks ur all some retards

  • This isn't a rodeo...it's a WAR ZONE, and the casualties are innocent animals.

  • Every single one need vet/medical help!

Fucking monsters that is doin this!

  • I would prefer that they put down the animal directly out in the field instead of dragging it back to the "back scene" and make it wait for hours perhaps, before they kill it. Just so the animal doesn't have to suffer that long.

But absolutely, it's a brutal and animal abusing sport. Horrible! (im swedish if anyone wonders about my spelling. ;)

  • soo sad!

  • GOTO "Horse slaughter in the United States"..... Now that is cruel!!!!!!!

  • Why are you only focusing on the Cheyenne Rodeo Days. you should include ALL the other RODEOS in the United States! Why not Check "Horse slaughter in the United States" on You Tube. Now that is inhuman. Its not jst the Cheyenne's that are cruel. Its the rest of the White people. Look at that

  • @betsuie2 We don't focus solely on CFD.

  • realy stuppid cowboys

  • sorry i didnt mean in that way

  • @iamswild No apology needed. We understood how you meant it, and you're right, in some cases the animals may be well tended to--outside the arena. We were just saying that's what rodeo uses as their defense: "Our animals are well-fed, blah, blah, blah"

But then they beat the hell out of them in the arena.

  • @SHARKonlineorg too true I think that's basically what they do before someone's funeral, wash the body and put it in a posh suit before throwing it in the dirt >:( it makes me sick!

  • well then the only thing i can give them is that they have kept them well fed and looking good for their parts evil bastards

  • @iamswild That's the rodeo defense. How well they're cared for outside the arena. In their delusional thinking, that gives them the right to treat them however they want inside the arena.

  • what happens to the animals when a rodeo is not on SHARK i mean the ones that are not left to die or do they constantly work

  • @iamswild They're transported rodeo to rodeo, or go back to the ranch to await the next rodeo booking.

  • this shit is torcher why do they keep doing it wat did the animals do to them

  • this is animal torcher u will think they will stop this stuff but they keep doing it and they dont care if they die the vets dont do any think the people just do it for fun but dont care about them

  • shit was this all in one day or over the week? thats so terrible... they should be murdered for treating animals like that

  • DIEGOxRULES: Not all in one day, but some only hours apart. This compilation is of the most egregious injuries which prove CFD's claim of only 7 injured animals needing vet care is bogus.

  • i would think vets would do thier job cu they get paid but is that not how it works at the rodeos? cuz ik the vets at the hunter jumper shows i take my horse to are always quick to respond to a horse in need.

  • clips#11 and 12 looks like the necks were broken,in 12 I beleave you can actually hear the neck brake.

  • I don't get it! How can people do this? And what's the point of wrestling the animal and tying them up when it's obvious that they're already brutally injuried? Man I love to do flip the situation around and make those Cheyenne Rodeo people there run their ass while I roped their necks and flip them backwards and leave them permanently paralyze, broken, and scar forever!

And shame on Taylor Swift for performing there and promoting her music with animal brutality.

  • this is ridiculous. yall aint cowboys you're f*cking heartless bitches!

  • hijos de puta la madre ke los parió!!!!!!!! ojalá y a ellos les hicieran lo mismo o peor!!!! con gentuza así.....pufff ke rabia dios

  • OMG when did cowboys start doing this cruelty to cattle?someone should stop this before it gets any worse. it had to be complete pain to get a horn knocked off.

  • i can't stand to watch these videos much less rodeo's. this is mean and cruel. i love my horses more than anything in this word. these people could careless about these animal. it makes me sick

  • this is so sad <3. i'm going to start working when i'm 15 so i'll have my own money and i'll donate

  • DisneyStarsTube: Thank you for your concern for the animals. Please share our video playlists with everyone you know to help spread the word about animal abuse.

  • NP! And i can't believe taylor supports this! She deserves to lose her fame, fans, and money. She's a cruel person.

  • Just wondering... is it possible to report this crimiinal animal abuse to the police?

is there any way to affect these rodeo people via the police???

  • YOURICEMAIDEN: In many states, rodeo livestock is exempt from animal cruelty laws, which is what we're trying to change. If the same abuse took place outside the arena, it would legally be abuse and the people could be charged.

The animals are suffering while rodeo people are protected by these laws of exemption.

  • oh so sad to read that the law is protecting these bastards, im lucky to live in a country with noo rodeos here.. I really wish you all the best luck in changing the laws there , so you could have all those animals saved from this horror! Keep on fighting, and we hope that you get rewarded!!!!!!!!!!

  • YOURICEMAIDEN: Thank you very much.

  • I'm ashamed of belonging to the human race, when I see stuff like this.

I don't find rodeo amusing AT ALL. And I seriously don't understand those who does.

It's so cruel in so my ways, that I can't even describe it.

Those people should be ashamed of themselves.

  • LSD2US: Thank you for your post.

  • D:

as i said, i think all of them need vetinary assistance :(

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WRON WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! I would like to see them running away from someone throwing a laso at their necks and wishing it will get cought in their necks and choke. And one they are in the grown drag their stupid asses all over ther fucken ground and make them eat dirt.!!! Then if they break something KILL THEM LIKE THEY DO TO ALL THE HORSES AND ANIMALS THAT BREAK A BONE!!! IDIOTS!! i hope they get a bull horn UP THIR FUCKEN ASSES AND ROTATE AROUND and UP THEIR FUCKEN MOUTH!!!

  • bastards,i understand its a game, show ...what ever fuck itis.

all of u will be dragged one day just like all those poor animals by ur legs or shoulder. ive seen what uve done so ill be there to witness against ur crimes. biyoooches, 2 against 1 lil boy.

  • theese ppl are descusting....

  • Oh my God!!! At 1:24 he actually screamed when his leg broke.

    =(

This makes me want to fucking puke...

  • OUCH!!!

  • They probably only reported 7 animals because they killed the rest. They have NO regard for the welfare of any animal, so I'm sure they figure a bullet to the head is far cheaper & they can hide it. With each new clip in this series I cry harder over the utter brutality. They tie up calves whose legs are clearly broken. They jam their knees into the faces of suffering babies. You can see the pain in their eyes as they are driven off. My hatred of these brainless monsters grows every day.

  • Shark , please tell me . what do they do to these animals ? My guess is they send them to some slaughter house ..it's another way to get money.

Please tell me what you know about "After".

    -iloilaetlolo

  • iloilaetlolo: Yes, the 'after' is the slaugherhouse. Sometimes they'll make a publicity stunt and bury a celebrity animal on their own property (such as Bodacious), but rodeo is pro-slaughter. They are fighting hard to get US slaughterhouses reopened so transportation costs will be lower than going to Mexico and Canada. They care for nothing but the almighty dollar.

  • Um . It doesn't suprise me. Well keep up the good work Shark.

    You have all my respect.

    -ioilaetlolo

  • DO most of these animals go to the slaughter house?

Oh my God! I wonder if people even know this! I didn't even know this. So, they are terrorized before they are killed.

Do you know if people can buy these animals from the rodeo? You would think from the way they treat them they would just give them away to people who might want them.

Well, they are money hungry, so maybe not.

Thank you again for exposing this! I will do my best to raise awareness.

  • It's just legalized dog and cock fighting - no way about it. Terror in the name of "sport". Insane that it still exists! Go get 'm SHARK! We love you! :)

  • beaelliott: Thank you very much!

  • Elderberrytea.

I think in the first place you got it al wrong.

What you see here in front of you cannot be an efficient way of working.

Ho much monney would a steer be worth if it cant grow up and put on enough weight on to profitable for slaughter.

Therefore i cannot believe that this is the way you would rope your own livestock, you would simply take away your own profit.

  • yall need some help... these guys are makin a living doing something they know and love...roping cows. real work. you people don't know anything about doing real work. go pet your cats and i'll rope my cows and i bet you any money that my cows like there life better than your cat.

  • elderberrytea- rodeo is not real work. It's time clock torment of animals for fun and profit.

  • Ranch work is one thing, this is another.

There is a way to take care of livestock and this isn't it.

  • Bastards, thinking that picking on defenseless babies makes them big tough men >:( They should all be hung.

  • are ya'll ready for the lawsuit coming... cameras were banned.. ya'll are posting copy righted video..

  • fuckstevehindi: We're waiting...

  • Up to one year in jail for this here in Czech Republic. And up to 2 years since Jan 2010.

  • maly33: You are obviously much further along than we are in the US. Good for all of you!

  • thank you SHARK for showing the world how cruel and heartless rodeos can be!

  • LoLGigglEsomg: Thank you for caring.

  • Thats is terrible with the horns busting. A cows horn is hollow and if you were to saw off both horns you can look right into the cows head....terrible. What a sham rodeo is.

  • I think it should also be mentioned that for the "lucky" bucking horses that survive the rodeo circuit their next destination is to slaughter. They are too traumiized to ever be made into a riding horse & if they can't breed them then they are sent to a cruel death. Rodeo is cruel.

  • 3vjones: That's a very good point.

  • These horses are made into bucking horses because they were too wild to break in the first place! There is such thing as a "bad minded" horse. They can be just as dangerous as other harmful animals! You people make very ignorant and uneducated comments.

  • rodeobamf: Pure nonsense. Rodeo announcers claim ad nauseum that rodeo horses are "bred to buck." They describe how these animals are mated according to their bucking ability.

  • what is the reason to kill these animals ? you highly educated mother fucker

  • it's terrible...............................

  • you can tell that all the calfs that had there horns broken were in real pain........if it hurts them how do they trim the hornswithout hurrting them?? i see bulls with trimmed horns all the time...its terrible

  • did any of the cows acually die?? or were they just seriously injured?? and i betting the 3rd little black calf that hurt its leg they made him run again....))): these are the saddest videos ever!!!

  • hunterjumper777: In addition to one horse, the rodeo admits two steers died, but the toll was higher, and included calves for certain, more steers and probably at least one more horse.

  • Do the cows feel pain when there horn is broken?

  • jellyrolling24: Yes, one veterinarian described the pain as "excruciating." Another vet, whose opinion will be among those posted in reference to these injuries states the following:

These are very painful injuries manifested by bellowing, shaking the head and turning the head away from the injured side.

  • they think theyve acheived so much by roping a BABY calf. what 60lbs? thats nice pointing it out. but really? how can you have pride, a 16-35 yr old man taking down a baby calf. it makes me laugh at them, then cry for the calf

  • Do these "people," for lack of a better word, not see how much pain and trauma the animals suffer?? If they don't see it or are in denial about it they can't possibly have a conscience.

  • Rodeos are wrong! Broken horns look very painfull but there lucky to survive. I know livestock is easy to replace but it should be punishable by law to purpusly harm and abuse an animal. Theres others trilling sports to do with animals. Like cow team peninig, pole bending, barel racing, driving, reining, gymkhana the list goes on and on...

Thats just my opinion, working with animals can be quite rewarding and safe for you and your animal partners

  • i wish them calves would turn around and gore those fucking cowbows

  • Funny how cowboys all feel the need to accessorize almost like gangbangers all wearing the same pants, shirts and hats. Don't forget the little copenhagen rings (wear) on the back pocket of the too small wrangler (man cameltoe) jeans.

  • OMG THE WORST ONES R THE BROKEN HORN ONES!! now thats sad!! wat do they do with the ones with broken horns?

  • horsinnaround101: Although the rodeo isn't admitting it, they are almost certainly killed, since they won't be any good for roping or wrestling events anymore.

  • r they killed on the spot?

  • horsinnaround101: No, they do it when people can't see, especially since they almost always deny the animal was killed.

  • so there suffering in pain until there put down? thats messed up!

  • horsinnaround101: Treatment costs money. They may try to treat an injured horse or bull, but calves and steers are relatively cheap, and the vet bill will quickly be more than the animal is worth to them. Even putting the animal down costs money, so often times rodeo animals are simply left to die. We have three videos where we caught that happening.

  • if its illegal to hurt/abuse animals, cant the police do anything bout it??

  • horsinnaround101: We'll see, and we'll let you know.

  • they are just as if they are horses. its quite hard to heal a broken leg of a cow.

  • The kill them all. They aren't going to treat broken legs.

  • The poor things are trying so hard to get away...and they just keep chasing them on their bad legs...the announcer just keeps bullshitting them about the "champions" too. Plus they always seem to circle the horses around the fallen animal, no doubt to keep the crowd from seeing what's going on.

  • though not life threatning it's obviouse that the broken horns are very painfull, there are a lot of nerves at the base of the horn and blood rich tissue that enables for horn growth. the body language of the steers with broken horns clearly shows that these animals feal pain.

  • THIS is a sport ?????

    It is ANIMAL ABUSE !!!

  • why is are these rodeos still so glorified and said to be family entertainment, when videos like these clearly so the abuse

  • This is the footage that should be on CNN, not that ridiculous fluff piece they did on how CFD made the media whores wear boots & hats so they 'fit it' with the scenery.

  • guardianofanimals: The mainstream media apparently can't handle real journalism any more. It's so easy to do stupid pieces like the one you mention. I guess they figure, why do any real work?

  • i dont understand what these people think they are achieving by doing this

is it to show the world they are stronger and smarter than animals

    thats what it looks like

    its uneccecary

  • i propose a new rodeo sport...

Kodiak bear wrestling. Its where the 'manly' cowboy tries to tie the full grown bear with nothing but a string.

  • that would be real sport

  • i was waiting for barrel racing to come on tv so i changed it to rfd and they had steer busting but they didnt show the steers getting tripped. why? not that i wanted to see it but jw.

  • shaleighamarie: Rodeo associations purposely don't film calves and steer being jerked down, or animal injuries or deaths. This demonstrates that rodeo people know what they are doing is cruel, and they simply try to keep people from seeing the worst parts.

  • Love how these guys still wrestle and tie up these poor animals knowing full well that they have horrendous injuries. Can you imagine have your leg pulled around and tied up when it is broken. I've broken my leg and I almost passed out AND no one was contorting my broken limb and tying it up. What jerk offs they are!!!!

  • This makes me wanna kick them in their balls!! How can anybody do this for fun???? imagen how fun it would be to do the same with some of those guys! :))) rope them ans stuff :))

  • I can't stand people who partake in these kinds of things. It's simply horrible, there are no words to describe the horrors that go on in rodeos.

Personally, I think all of these people should be thrown in jail and never let out. I can't understand why anyone thinks it's okay to treat animals this way.

  • I hope that these "cowboys" come back in their next life as rodeo calves.

  • If they ever have a volunteer to rope, tie and slam a rodeo coward cowboy I be the first to raise my hands and of course I would "forget" the "humane rules"!.

  • Anyway, injuring animals for entertainment = EVIL

All those fucking idiots should get another damn hobby. I'm pretty sure here in the Netherlands are those guys should just be arrested for useless animal harrasment.

  • Why do they pick on the little cows? Pick a real one, damn sissies!!! These assholes reall have no honor.

  • & I highly doubt these rodeo cults have any vets... even if you see some guy walking out in a lab coat examining an animal... highly doubt he'd have a vet. license and is prob. a HS dropout

no offense to non-animal abuses that have dropped out of HS

  • none of this has literally no point, ya know, just a way to bring in money, REAL "cowboys" back-in-the-day did not treat animals like this... they didnt have to beat and tackle an animal and break his neck to stop it

    bloody bastards,

    thnx SHARK

  • I dont really care for the jerkdowns or the steer tripping. They should fine them for a jerkdown and do away with the steer tripping. Me and my friend both rodeo and barrel race and are about puking seeing some of these. Every rodeo we have been to there has maybe been 2 calfs that have gotten hurt. Nothing like this. And even the biggest rodeo around us is the Omak Stampede and there are rarely any accidents within the 4 days. Terrible Terrible!

  • what happend when the break a horn? are they put down? do they ever grow back?

  • No, their horns do not grow back. Once they are gone, they are gone and it is incredibly painful for them to lose one. The rodeo folks surely put them down as the functionality as roping steers is shot once they have lost a horn.

  • I though for sure that the steer in 21 was going to have a broken neck the way the man was twisting him :( Roping and steer busting are such stupid sports.

  • Totally Disgusting and senseless abuse of these animals.

  • this was deffinately not a good day for any of those steer -__-, lord the body count keeps stacking up its sad -_- an honestly even though i enjoy rodeo this discusts me -_-

  • I don't know how anyone can possibly enjoy rodeo. "Not all rodeos are bad" Thats like saying "Not all animal abuse is bad! They aren't always seriously injured!"

  • oh i'de love for one of those creeps to say that and to say that back to them
