  • I cannot believe i wasted 4 minutes of my life watcing this political farce. Surely he wants or wanted something. Probably more african-american support. Too litle and waaaaayyyyyyy to late 20 year old apology? thank godness he did not become president with his old extra conservative ways ugh!

  • What an asshole...the man is nearly 80 years old and he didn't know what Dr. Martin Luther King stood for - this shit is pathetic

  • i knew diz white cracker motherfucka was racist..im glad obama made it..thank u jesus!

  • this was jus mccain tryin to get the black vote thats all

  • Do these people know it's not church? It's not call and answer, when someone speaks in this setting you don't shout back at them.

  • bitch you know what u were doing when u voted against that black man holiday n that's why you have cancer n going to die, hopefully soon u swollen gland KKK white bitch

  • Someone is going to be diagnosed with cancer because they don't vote for Obama? Someone is with the Ku Klux Klan because they don't vote for Obama?

I bet Obama would be pissed for you to refer to him as "the black man".

    You are a racist asshole.

  • No, he was talking about the King Holiday. Although it was a bit over the top.

  • all you fucking obama lovers need to shut up because you only like obamacause your black or youve heard his name over mccains. so shut up!!!

  • Yeah and some of the others who liked McCain, weren't voting for him because he was white. Yeah they were. Why is it that blacks have to worry about that, but whites don't. And why is it that whites can vote for a man who is their color but blacks can't? Niether is right, but niether should be done.

  • wow liberals everyway. Who gives a flying shit about if he voted for a dumbass holiday or not.

  • is this guy serious??

    OBAMA 08'

    MLK brought people together

what is mccain talking about he needs to use a computer or somethin?

  • Shut the fuck up mccain, your just saying this to try to get support...stop reading scripts for once and say what's really on your mind, who the hell votes against MLK day???WHO??? and he only comes out during election time to apologize, pfft!...you racist peckerwood asshole

  • I feel sorry for you all. God help us.

  • Just trying to get votes!! We won't forget what you did Nov. 4th!!! F@CK you redneck liar!!! MCCain also left his sick, crippled first wife to be with this trophy wife he has now!! Man of honor he is NOT!!

  • He also voted to fire Clinton for his affair and said it made him unfit to be president. Why then, is he so fit to be president after the way he treated his badly injured wife?

  • WOW...

    This is sad...

I already didn't like McCain but this truely makes me HATE HIM...

who would ever want to not honor MLK for a holiday? What is that? He died for his cause.... He can't even say how he feels without reading from a piece of paper he sounds so INSENSITIVE.... and like a fucking computer...

And he says how he felt the day he died?

But you wanna vote against the holiday? WHAT...

    Obama/ Biden 2008

  • John McCain is a liar (which many successful politicians are).

McCain's voted against the King Holiday and said that it was because people made him? But this is a "Maverick" that does what he thinks is right despite what people think. I'm confused??? But that just speaks to his character.

  • he doesent give a shit about dr king. Black people are stupid to vote for mccain. im sure hes just another nigger hating cracker.

  • Omg!!! Right with you! You know Republican companies have Blacks talking about how you should for republican...WTF?

  • Black people voting for McCain are retards. I hope they know McCain hate niggers. He's just saying all this crap to be president.

  • He really didn't need to apologize, its not like black people would vote for him anyway.

  • Its not about Blacks people its about him making himself look good to the masses, more about image than a thoughtful apology in my opinion. Just look how long it took for him to make this so called apology.

  • I'm African-American and I would vote for McCain. However, if he didn't have the common sense to see the long term political implications of his vote, I question his character and his intelligence. I have the same questions about Bro Obama. Needless to say, I'm not voting.

  • I agree and I'm white

  • Well, that clinches it. All 10 black Republicans will vote for him now. LANDSLIDE!

  • noooo, how bout we just keep letting these shallow white exploiticians run this shit?

  • Can you believe this scumbag McCain asking foran apology now?Doesn't he know that there are some things that can't be forgiven? No matter what faith you're from the HOLOCAUST can't be forgiven,LYNCHINGS and the failure to speak out when one has the opportunity CAN'T be forgiven.McCain is a spoiled phony just like his wife. They are completely detatched from suffering of their fellow citizens and are therefore disqualified from service."Americans are just whiners." - Sen Phil Graham McCains buddy.

  • I assume your POW experience was a lot more intense than his, then.

  • 1 yr less than his. Why? Are you counting? Figures someone who never served DARES to criticized on this board. You're alway. . .gonna. . .lose with a highly decorated war vet like myself scumbag so don't even try wiping your ass on our flag or we'll shove it right up your un-grateful un-American ass. You're a mere serf whereas I served my country with honor. YOU SHALL OBEY.

  • Take it easy psycho

  • It would seem to me that Senator McCain rather than trying to speak *for* Dr. King (and in so doing recreate him as a modern Republican) should actually quote Dr. King. But I would suspect he cannot do that, as he does not appear really to be influenced by King's nonviolence or strong opposition to economic exploitation. McCain has not "learned" anything from King.

McCain should pursue policies he believes but not cynically reshape King in his own image. Stand on your own feet, Senator.

  • sorry not a good reader of script~not a bit of emotion or feeling that makes public speakers worth listening to...I could have read twice as fast as he speaks...

  • This is an example of a wise conscientious man who learns from his mistakes and is big enough to admit them. It was nice to hear some of the audience backing McCain on his apology.

He's also the only presidential candidate to show up for Dr King's commemoration, where are Obama and Hillary who purportedly stand up for civil rights and the down-trodden? I guess they didn't feel MLK would generate enough publicity. McCain keeps proving over and over by words and deeds what a true leader he is.

  • " I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." -Dr. Martin Luther King

  • that's exactly what john mccain was thinking when he voted against the mlk holiday back in 1983. and he still feels the same way today.

  • May God save you and in the process deliver you from the hatred you have for Black people or possibly all non-Whites.

  • A stupid thoughtless pig is what you are!

  • First, we should learn how to spell before posting anything on here. Second, if he's a nigger then we're all niggers (what ever that word means.) Third, nowhere have I read that God said that a certain race was superior than the rest of His people on this earth. Fourth, what does you being a Southerner and a Republican have to do with anything? Are you implying that all Southerners and Republicans are hateful? Fifth, one thing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us was that racism ....

  • First, we should learn to spell before posting anything on here. Second, if he's a nigger, then we're all niggers (whatever that word means). Third, nowhere in the Bible do I recall God making one race superior over the rest of His people on this earth. Fourth, one thing Dr. Maring Luther King Jr. taught us is that racism and hate is wrong (for people like you who try to keep it alive). Fifth, I am not without sin, but I must let you know that that is a "demonic" spirit of hate you have in you

  • this was in response to ammons123, but for some reason when it saved, it wouldn't save as a reply

  • more pale skin shallowheads. What is white culture? Stop stealing everyone elses ideas and find ur own identity bitch. yea we need georgia bush day so soon as he walk outside and wave to the crowd, ima do him like our soldiers do them iraqis.POP,POP,BANG!

  • Who's Georgia Bush?

  • LOL at "Boo" and "We all make mistakes, we all make mistakes"

Personally, I think McCain used to be an honorable guy (besides the decision he made about the holiday), but sold his soul to the Republican Party and their cheap tricks. For example, two days before the Florida primaries, he publicly put out a false rumor about Mitt Romney, and Mitt had no time to refute it. His lying and cheapness is so transparent, unconcealed by any slickness or down-home country flavor (Romney and Bush).

  • he learned from when bush did it to him in 2000

  • bush

I'm still waiting for the light to go off in his head any day now.

  • McCain dont just talk the talk.Obviously u did not understood what MLK refer to by "Returning hate for hate, only multiplies hate".You thought it was right to Hit staright back at Al Quaeda. If thats not returning hate for hate, then i dont know what it is.

  • pathetic attmept

  • nice way to try to get the black vote.

  • ppthp :p.. everyone knows only magic missile can combat the darkness

  • his emphasis on "moral badness/ blindness" was strange

  • McBush sucks, plain & simple.

  • Politics. Amazing isn't it?

  • oh my god, this must be in the south where Poor uneducated black folk will fall for anything. This is humiliating and embarrasing for black folk everywher. "we forgive you", "we all make mistakes." We still have not progressed as a people. Wake up people. The time is now. I feel sorry for you.

  • O yes, what a horrendous thought, that "black folk" should show compassion and forgive someone outside their own race! Are you suggesting that poor, southern, uneducated people are more tolerant, while the wealthy, northern, educated are wise beyond their years with embittered hate? If so, then I agree wholeheartedly!

  • he may endorse King now, but King would never endorse him.

  • yes, i wonder who wrote the speech.

  • he's done. What a tool.

  • he sucks at giving speeches its so corny

if he gets into he white house im moving to canada

  • Mccain played himself. Get the fuck out of here with that bulls shit.

  • if this guy gets in the white house i am moving to another country. maybe afghanistan or somewhere warm

  • I hear McCain's next stop is Bob Jones University...

  • his campagn theme should be we all make mustakes, now vote for me and the whole world can be sorry with me...

  • how convienient he is NOW apologising for his oposition to the MKL holiday.. that was many yrs ago and now that he is running for the leader of the free world he is all about apologising ? like he was just a young lark when he voted against the holiday he was in his 50s what next him apoligisinfg for calling the vietnamise comunity gooks, singining about bombing iran or how about for being involved in the keating 5 his whole campagn will be a series of apologies...

  • haha moron!

  • today is the one year aniverary of veracifier hosting their first video

    watch?v=aoyrzeDsNso

  • I just hope all the candidates will get the same treatment. Presidential candidates have to be harshly scrutinized.

  • I love the audience's reaction after he told them he voted against the holiday. John McCain is a disgrace.

  • you would have to be pretty stupid to believe that he's talking truth. truth comes from the heart, not from a speech written for you.

  • or memorized / borrowed from "your friend" ..

  • "my friends"; two words that McCain uses more then any other two combined words.

  • Sorry but you've been wrong more then once. Please Don't give him any more chances! Mr McCain is a great guy but not the best leader for president. Obama 08

  • Take McCain's speech and apply that to America's actions in Iraq.

  • I am NOT a McCain fan, but I appreciate his willingness to step out and apologize....could you imagine Bush ever apologizing for ANYTHING? Still...

    Obama 08! :)

  • the difference between between john mckkkain and a racist is that a racist would call vietnamese people "gooks", defend south carolina's right to fly the confederate flag, AND burn a cross on a black family's lawn. john mcklan has only done two of these things and therefor is not a racist.

  • What part of flying the confederate flag makes a person a racist? And McCain retracted that and admitted it was a politically expedient decision that he would never make again, and did so.

Its OK for black people to whine about how their ancestors were treated 160 years ago, but McCain can't be angry about people breaking almost every bone in his body and not giving him medical treatment, crippling him for life, and imprisoning him? And people wonder why he's insane...

  • well, considering that the chief reason for the civil war was the south's determination to hold onto their slaves it's almost like including a swastika on the flag. why would anyone defend or proudly salute a symbol of hate?

and for the record, i've never heard a black person "whine" about slavery, but i've heard a lot of racist white americans complain about their supposed whining. what's your problem? nobody loves you?

  • First of all I'm black, and I realize its a crime to say people complain incessantly about something that has never directly happened to them, so there's your point.

Second, there are many black Southern groups that fly the Confederate flag because... wait for it... that's part of their heritage. Slavery occurred just as much under the US flag, the Union jack, you are living under the revisionist equivalence to the swastika. Yes, supremacists have used the flag, but that's not exclusive.

  • And if the chief reason for the civil war was to end slavery, then why did the Union admit four states into their side that did not prohibit slavery, exclude occupied New Orleans from the emancipation Proclamation, not to mention the "If I could end the war by freeing all the slaves..." quote; Lincoln was a racist, he wouldn't meet with Frederick Douglass.

You are right about a symbol, it is what you make it. Does that justify how Islamic extremists feel about Christianity and the Crusades?

  • The problem with the Confederate flag goes back to the Civil Rights movement and the segregationists hijacking it promote their cause. The Confederate flag being uniquely linked to slavery is a nice little trick played by white liberals in linking every problem in society with the African American community to slavery. Confederate flag = segregation, plausible; slavery = US flag just as much historically. Plessy vs. Ferguson was not just a law in the South. Remember Jews drink Christian blood.

  • uh huh, uh huh. uhh, wtf are you talking about? i'm talking about mccain and you're talking yourself into the ground. it sounds more like you're trying to convince yourself of something rather than making the case for mccain. clearly his support for the confederate flag or claiming he didn't know "how great" MLK jr. was in effing 1983 was an attempt to pander to racists in the republican party, as was his "gooks" remark. that's all there is, but you can go on babbling now if you like.

  • No, you're making your typical master-slave arguement taht anyone who disagrees with you is untermenchen and they need your salvation to see the light. You have no idea for McCain's motivation for not voting for MLK, probably because he didn't give a fuck. He damn sure isn't a blanket racist if you know anything about him, althoguh the politician in him knows he won't get any black votes. When will liberals court the fundies? Get it?

Of course not, you're married to an ideology over truth.

  • As for the "gook" comment, I covered that. Some gooks tortured the shit out of him, so he hates them. Sensible enough.

People like you make shit up for political advantage like Hitler reminding people in the middle ages Jews were allegedly sacrificing Christian children, complete Elders of Zion protcol bullshit. You don't give a fuck about living conditions liberal, you just use voting blocs to push an agenda and therefore equal McCain's pandering.

    Fuck McCain, and FUCK YOU.

  • i'm not pandering to anyone and i have no motivation to do so. i'm just rolling my eyes, watching you twist yourself into pretzels defending mccain, the confederate flag, babbling on about hitler and holocaust. who knows what the shit you're talking about now.

my point is simple: mccain has used racism to try to get out the vote in the past and HE has said as much in regards to his support of the s. carolina flag. the same is true here.

i got no agenda. you obviously have emotional issues.

  • google: "southern strategy" and see if that gets some of those dormant brain cells of yours working. i don't think that everyone who disagrees with me is "untermenchen" (where the f did you get that three dollar word?) i just think you in particular are making a b.s. argument. mccain IS a racist if he's appealing to voter racism to get elected. that shit doesn't fly anymore, so he's backtracking now and saying that he LATER supported an MLKjr holiday (which he didn't). pathetic and transparent.

  • Fucking twat.

  • If you'd stop your spewing hatred at those who don't agree with you, perhaps someone would take you seriously. Do you talk that way to your parents? If you treat others as trash, then how do you expect to get any respect? I can't respect someone who treats others as trash, and I've been replying to the sanitation department here. Learn to get along with others, and the difference between murder and dying for a just cause. Look it up.

I'm off...there is no good from this thread. Goodday.

  • is there a reason people cant be quiet and respectful when listening to a speech?

    oh yah....its memphis.

  • There's no obligation to be quiet and respectful. Where do you live?

  • gawd, he's just....

he sounds exactly like Nixon when he says "I was wrongg"

    "I'm not a crook"

    Israel News 06/04/2008

Prime Minister Olmert told Lebanon and Syria not to worry after the two countries raised concerns that Israel's nationwide emergency drill was in preparation for an escalation of conflict. The drill focused on the North, simulating a chemical attack on a major city and a hazardous spill in Haifa Bay. Others in the government said no one has anything to be worried about.

  • w w w . infolive . tv / en / home

  • It is not surprising that both CNN and MSNBC both said mccain was "heckled" at his speech. Only FOX news correctly states that there was mixed reaction. There were boo's, yes. But I also hear "Everyone makes mistakes" and "We forgive you" from the crowd. Don't get me wrong, McCain has no chance of wrestling the black vote away from Democrats. But, It does show what kind of leader McCain is. To stand up in front of MLK supports on this day and apologize for not voting for the federal holiday.

  • But it could all just be a political maneuver. Similar to Obama, staying in Indiana (which has a May 6th coming up) and making some reference to RFK's speech that day, which just luckily happened in Indianapolis.

  • What "mixed reaction"? Did you hear any applause? I didn't. Only Fox would make such a statement because it's not a news channel, it's a propaganda station.

  • Listen to it...

I hear "we forgive you" and "we all make mistakes"

  • there goes the black vote for mccain. Vote Obama 08

  • When McCain becomes president he should Round up all you Ron Paul Supporters and set up camps to control the spread of your treasonous beliefs about freedomse and the constitution. You have to give liberty up to be free! McCain 08, the right man to combat terrorist!

  • McCain is just another fascist dictator waiting the wake of our fascist George W. Bush.

  • I am being sarcastic...i love Ron Paul.

  • mercen144 - "You have to give liberty up to be free" ?????? you contridict yourself. You should go and google "Logic definition".

  • lol i was just kidding...there are actually people think like that...i was just being sarcastic...im a Paulite check out my videos :)

  • I am being sarcastic...i love Ron Paul.

  • I am being sarcastic...i love Ron Paul.

  • "The Republican presidential nominee, Sen John "Bush" McCain, has already promised to continue the disastrous domestic&foreign policies of the Bush-Cheney Admin.

The Bush-Cheney-McCain trio are now blaming the poor for their "unwise" house buying and are refusing to restore the safety of financial markets

...34 years ago when Bush was a student of mine at Harvard Business School, he said that "people are poor because they are lazy."

(Bush Caused the Financial Market Meltdown by

    Yoshi Tsurum)

  • Ron Paul doesn't make mistakes!

He follows the Constitution! Its not that hard..

  • what a radical concept. following the constitution. i wonder if mccain is familiar with that document or the ideals it represents?

  • he has been wrong on so many issues it is getting hard to keep track of them all. voting AGAINST HIS OWN anti torture bill recently comes to mind. i wonder if he will say the same thing about that some day? zero credibility, a fine political tradition.

  • "A mistake I made long ago. I was wrong."

Is this what hes going to say after his 100 year war in Iraq? Oh wait, yea he doesn't care about it. His money is secure, his future generations are secure. He'll be long gone when the backlash effects the American people.

McSame sucks. He even blundered MLK's holiday, what a duche.

  • Oh who cares about McCain. He's irrelevant. In fact all three are the same.

Vote for REAL change, vote Libertarian.

  • McCain = McSame

  • what a sack of shit

  • Ahhh...typical liberal "please forgive us" but "no forgiveness for the Republicans". If you'd treat others with the compassion you wish to be treated, maybe you'd feel like human beings. Try practicing what you preach. You seem pretty anxious to hold past mistakes against the Republicans (and Mr. Bush) but when have Mrs. Clinton, or any Democrat, apologized for sending our men and women to Iraq?

Hypocrisy is alive and well in the Democratic party.

  • [yesroh] im neither liberal nor democrat so l guess l wont have to "practice what l preach" . you say "bush brought change to iraq", he brought many things but mostly death. you talk about holding mistakes against bush? he hasnt made any mistakes, they were all deliberate acts of terrorism.

before you class someone as "typical", find out who you are talking to otherwise you will prove how stupid you and not just look it

  • How many died (voluntarily) in Iraq compared to the thousands killed in abortions daily, endorsed and given a stamp of approval by Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Clinton, and Mr. Obama. They are worse than Nazis.

Ahhh...typical name calling of the liberal. A sign you can't make your argument. I expected that. Learn to speak with civility.

  • "they're worse than nazis"

    next sentence,

"typical name calling of the liberal."

    DERR

  • john mcsame! a vote for mccain is a vote for a third bush legislature.

  • I remember when Public Enemy made a video about Arizona's refusal to celebrate MLK Day.

This guy is a hypocrite and a tool.

    I'm voting for change!!!

  • Hitler brought change. Mr. Bush brought change to Iraq. Hurricane Katrina brought change to New Orleans. You need to be more specific. The black plague brought change--do you want more of that? If you ask for vague and unclear results, that's what you'll get. Perhaps that's why Mr. Obama is doing so well.

  • What McCain doesn't admit in this speech is that he voted along with the Southern Republican Segregationist bloc against ALL CIVIL RIGHTS legislation during the '80s, not just the MLK Holiday bill.

  • Senator John "dwarf-arms" McCain is EXTREMELY OLD, SENILE, AND UNWISE.

He will be the biggest War President ever, if given a chance. His entire platform is his war experience! Who cares?

If he tells that damn POW story one more time.....Gosh, and we haven't even got to the general election yet!!!

    McCain = Bush!

And Bush Jr., was by far our worst President in American History!

  • Reverend Jeremiah Wright has a sinister, Rasputin-like hold over the Obama family. So much so, that I see physical resemblance between Wright and Obama's son. One actually wonders if the good reverend has been sampling Michelle's forbidden fruit. If this is the case, which is likely, Barack may have left himself open to extortion from Wright and his Marxist church.

  • patsagainstrats: Son? Obama has two daughters. Your whole comment is ridonkulous.

  • At his son's request, Obama allows him to dress as girl. Good liberals don't enforce gender roles, you know?

  • patsagainstrats: That is true. lol Just like Oprah.

  • The American people CAN be very forgiving . . . if given a chance . . .

ALL great presidents have taken PERSONAL responsibility for MAJOR f*ck-ups.

Bush (Cheney/Rove) policy = NEVER (ever) take PERSONAL responsibility!

***It is THIS policy MORE than the MISTAKES themselves that destroyed Bush, and more importantly, destroyed OUR COUNTRY'S credibility.***

  • fed holiday for MLK ---when are going to have a fed holiday for JFK???? jwskepp

  • why did he have to say this and stir up the shit? why not give a generic speech about how good he was and go home?

  • Do you know why Obama wasn't at the MLK ceremony? He didn't want to take all the glory away from honoring MLK. He knows that everybody would only want to see him. What a good cult leader.

  • That's a pretty damn big cult, if you ask me!!!

  • I remember way back hearing that Arizona was the only state that didn't recognize the MLK Jr holiday, and I thought, WTF? It was McCain? I didn't know who he was back then. I'm glad he admits he was wrong.

  • He wants so much to play chess with our soliders.

    Obama 2008!

  • Mcain is a Hitler wannabe.

  • like .1% of the population does anything MLK related on his holiday.

  • P-a-n-d-e-r-i-n-g.

  • Get the government out of holiday-making

  • What an Idiot!

  • He admits it because he knows it would have soon been realized. Just like Dick Cheney going to a gun club where the confederate flag waves. This is just the brink of opening the veins of America. They sing lets all get along so that they can fight their imperialist wars. So that they can get their resources from other parts of the world. That's the only reason why they sing "America is United". When their done abroad their back at home with the people of color. Incarceration Rates go up, Katrina

  • Education in public schools get caught of. They switch the light out. Than tell you America is United. Was America United for the past couple of years when you police hounds beat the people? When you racial profiled the streets locking all your poor up? Than charging them to fines that you know they can't pay? So that your system can have a reason to incarcerate them all over again? Where you decide to build more jails than schools? And know at times of War they sing we are all together.

  • So you can fight their brutal wars and take other peoples resources. Pay their black agents to infiltrate your offensive response. While all throughout slavery your only response was defensive. This sing hymn of harmony when at war and when trouble lures. But behind the white mask they look upon people of color with disgust. Let your children live in horrible conditions. In projects that are 6' by 8 cell sizes. When all the money is poured out for wars. The poor are left with less resources.

  • The symphony might sound good but its def. not beethoven.

  • Who's this "WE" kimosabe? Senator Senior Ciitzen...YOU represent not only the most racist state (AZ) in the modern-day era; you are wrong. "Dr. King's questions were unanswerable"? His questions were couched in a message of love that troglodytes like you with your grizzled lizard constituency didn't want to hear about ever again. With that vote, you ignored the challenges of Dr. King.

His questions were not unanswerable; they're just still unanswered.

  • at least he admits hes wrong (translation: a sorry peice of shit)

  • lol listen to McLame playin the african american citizens for fools. if hes real lucky he might get .000001% of teh black vote.

  • pleeze, spare me the bullshit, doubletalk mcbush! i wonder if one day you might say that you were wrong on a number of things...like iraq, the economy, not supporting the ban on torture, not supporting the new GI bill...yeah, ya know, not out of convenience, but truly believes in it...and if you live that long and stay coherent enough. i doubt it!

  • how is this guy suppose to be the President of America? he sounds like my boring old chemistry techer. Jeeez..

  • At least he's not trying to cruise chicks by posting a lame dance video with low-riding pants...

  • He sounds like Bush...always reading off the paper.

  • And he can't even do that well.

  • We need a third party.... desperately

  • OBAMA '08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Segregationist Republican Jesse Helms and John McCain share remarkably similar voting records on civil rights during the '80s. John McCain made more than ONE MISTAKE on CIVIL RIGHTS, in fact, he made a whole series of mistakes on civil rights! In fact, McCain's voting record during that time period puts him solidly in the DIXIECRAT camp!

  • WASHINGTON: Former Republican congressman Bob Barr is hinting strongly that he will jump into the presidential race as a Libertarian.

Barr, 59, who left the Republican Party in 2006 over what he called bloated spending and civil liberties intrusions by the Bush administration, is expected to make an announcement Saturday at a Libertarian conference in Kansas City.

Should he run, Barr might sap votes from Republican John McCain..."

  • McCain is just a moron.

  • I call bs! I wasn't even born then or come from America and i KNOW the impact MLK had!

To use this excuse is retarded.

  • Not supporting the creation of a federal holiday in honor of Dr. King does not make one a racist. There are many things to consider in such a decision that have nothing to do with race.

  • who hasn't made mistakes? I say good for him.

  • I don't want another f'ing dum ass as president.

    McCain is a f'ing racist.

    CONFIRM.

  • MLK was strongly anti-war, so who the hell does McCain think he is to be distorting his message?

  • I wonder who he'd choose as his runnin' mate!

"I was wrong, only cause I want YOUR vote"

  • I'm calling bullshit on your MLK communist claim.
