Love Alec Baldwin, he is an actor who found a way to play his authentic comedic self on TV and it really comes across. He is honest witih himself and others about his shortfalls and regrets, which are public, and seems to have moved onto becoming his best essential self.

Throwing around stereotypes (especially ones about 300 million people) is lazy thinking. Try harder.

Until very recently Americans didn't need a passport to travel to Canada or Mexico, so many who didn't have passports HAD actually been abroad. I did weekend trips to other countries all the time when I lived in Europe. It's much harder to do that in the US. You're comparing places that are very different geographically.

Before jumping to ignorant conclusions you need to think this stuff through.
