  • In my blog you can find this prelude Nº10 with the correct notation:

in a futur i'll publish the guitar pro archive with the classic score..

at boyaguitarra.blogspot.com look for tarrega tabs

sorry but youtube don't acces the correct link.

  • S.E.M means Soneto Ediciones Musicales.

Tarrega only published the nine firsts preludes after his death appeared new preludes arranged from diferents guitarrists.

Melchor Rodríguez and S.E.M published a new edition based on manuscripts and original editions with some unpublished (inéditos).

  • Very interesting! Excellent sound!

  • Thank you. I still had not quite balanced the bass and treble lines and I play this better now. I am enjoying playing these short preludes and I hope to post another soon.

    Tim

  • If you have any information on "SEM" of Tarrega's composition, please let me know. I thought that I knew most of the Tarrega's works but the piece you played in this video is new to me.

  • The prelude is in the collection that I asked you about and the SEM is still a mystery to me. I sent you a note on where to download the collection.

  • Thank you for your information. I will appreciate you.

  • I got all these S.E.M. preludes by Tarrega an by the way there is a mistake in one chord. I send the video aswer for you to check it.

  • Thanks,

I will check for a mistake. Which course and measure had the mistake?

    Tim

  • it´s in the third measure in the second time I a add the video response for you to check it.

    I hope it help

    Erick

  • Yes I see and hear the mistake. You noticed the same problem I did after I had posted the piece to youtube.

I enjoy listening to you play, Erick. Thanks for taking time to comment.

    Tim

  • Hi Tim!

Nice playing. 5 stars, of course.

    Happy holidays!

    Jolina

  • Thanks Jolina. A belated Merry Christmas and have a great New Year. Any New Year's resolutions about chocolate?

    Regards,

    Tim

  • Oh yes, I will be eating even more chocolate in 2009!!

  • My wife took medication one time and the doctor prescribed dark chocolate to go with the medication. She said "I like this doctor!"

Sadly for me, I am supposed to limit my consumption so please have a piece or three in my honor.

    Tim

  • Sure Tim, no problem!

What is the name of this doctor? I think I would like him, too.

  • Hi Tim,

Short but nice melody, good work. Tarrega is my favorite composer. I know this won't be soon but one day I will be able to play "Recuerdos D'Alhambra".

    Regards

    Selcuk

  • Thanks Selcuk. I would love to play Recuerdos also. I do like Tarrega. I am still trying to record other videos I told you about but I need a bit larger blocks of time. I am hoping to get the time in the next two weeks.

    Regards,

    Tim

  • TO Mr.Tim. Nice to meet you. It will be able to teach about the number and those who compose without it is possible to find though it searches for the score of the tune that you are performing in Japan by a very pleasant performance. From GUITARBOY1967 in Japan.

  • Good to meet you as well. I listened to a video you placed on youtube. I enjoyed it very much.

    Regards,

    Tim

  • Thank you for seeing.

It is very grateful by the performance in Tokyo.

Well, is there a title of this tune though it differs from Preludio No.10 of Tarrega that I know?

The guitar is the highest. Moreover, it looks forward to the performance variously. From GUITARBOY1967 of Japan.

  • Here is the text on the page:

    Preludio

    (inedito)

    S.E.M.

    no. 10

At the bottom of the score it says:

    S.E.M. 1911

I assume the difference in numbering from the one you know is the person or group who collected, ordered, and numbered the compositions.

  • Hi Tim! I liked it a lot. Especially the

combination of the music with the

esoteric illumination - much like a

    Rembrand picture. - Athan

  • Hi Athan,

Thanks. The lighting is somewhat accidental but I do like natural light through the window.

Have you written down your original pieces yet? I would have fun trying to play one. BTW I have two of your videos on my favorites section of the channel.

    Regards,

    Tim

  • Thank you Tim! I am honored that you liked

my small pieces. I will try to post some

more soon - and, perhaps, write them down

as well! Have a great time! - Athan
