american sugar sound... they didn't understand nothing. Bach, Master of Music, would cry when he could listen this hoopy-doopy-disney-sound.... hollywood soundtrack
Lovely voice and fine performance. For me, the orchestration is most fascinating and I would love to know the name of the arranger. The original 1713 score is astonishing in its romantic sound, melodically and harmonically and is way ahead of its time. This lush "realization" certainly presents Bach in an unexpected setting and should, for some, continue an age-old debate of whether Baroque music can be performed on "modern" instruments. But credit should be given where credit is due.
