Yeah... those things in DMT land are utterly bizarre, alien, indescribable, and I got that same feeling of being terrified. Blink once...twice...BAM it's replaced with something completely outrageous that words don't even come close to describing, there are no words that exist yet to describe it. The only time I ever touched on that feeling in real life was when I moved house and the removalist left and I was left with an entire room crammed with boxes and I was like "where the heck do I start?"

Very interesting negative account of a pure DMT experience... This "vaulted interior~space" that one goes to on a DMT trip, sounds terrifying & even subterranean. As someone who has claustrophobia, (which in essence is the fear of NO Escape, not just a fear of "small spaces")... I think I'll pass on the DMT trip, and stick to organics~ like 'shrooms & cannabis!

if dmt is too frightening, i would suggest combining ayahuasca (or maybe some other form of MAOI) in addition to your dose of mushies to potentiate it (also a little bit of alcohol in the stomach helps pull the actives out of the shrooms, and a little bit of acid de-phosphorylates the psilocybin into psilocin [hence "lemon tek" though it works equally well with soda or any other acid], but the potentiation from those pales in comparison to MAOI)

@CosmicFork DMT is just as organic as weed or shrooms. If you don't want to extract pure compounds, there is always Ayahuasca.

@supercell42 Doesn't say he smoked anything, it was probably injected... And no, smoking P. Viridis won't do much to you, you need to smoke an extract from a DMT containing plant.

Also not all DMT experiences are going to be fun or even enjoyable, this is not a recreational drug. A lot of it is about overcoming your fears. Sounds like he knows what his preffered route of administration was any way - Ayahuasca.

Viridis leaves and see how far it gets you! You need an EXTRACT to get the full experience if you want to smoke it.

@supercell42 Look mate, maybe do some research on the subject outside of YouTube, and you will see that P. Viridis leaves don't contain enough DMT to be smoked on their own. Your body would metabolise it too quickly for you to ingest an active dose. I may be no T. McKenna, but I was just trying to share a bit of info with you. The quote I got wrong, yeah, but I guarantee you the rest of the info is correct. Be as sarcastic as you like, the fact still stands :P

now was "it" referring to p.viridis or dmt??

well p. viridis has a dmt concentration of about .34% as opposed to the higher yielding mhrb (sometimes well over %1) and mhrb has too low concentration to be smoked.

your MAO enzymes will break what very little dmt there is almost immediately

@supercell42 seriously go to any dmt forum ever (i recommend dmt-nexus) and ask the knowledgeable chemists and shamans if you can smoke viridis.

i guaruntee you 100% of everyone familiar with dmt/dmt extracting will give you a resounding no.

I went through an extremely similar experience the first time - It was almost mechanical how I was lifted out of my body, had every aspect of my self besides my physical body be dissected, modified to make room for this information that is inarguably real, and put back together. My entire life's worth of knowledge was permanently altered, (for the better) but that doesn't make it any less terrifying.

That's not to say that Ayahuasca doesn't play into it. What happens when you smoke Changa when you take ayahuasca? Has it been done? I have not taken Ayahuasca. Maybe she will tell me it is not the way, but if this is the case why is smokeable dmt playing into history? If anyone knows where to find info on if anyone has ever smoked dmt/changa on ayahuasca let me know..

I believe we can establish a new shamanic method using Changa, a combination of DMT Freebase salts and B. Caapi Freebase salts. I believe this combination has came about at a time where there is not enough time for others to integrate into the ayahuasca paradigm and to have shamans. I sometimes think it is the best method for western culture to break through social barriers. What do you think about this?

this substance is NOT repeat NOt just another way to get high... it should be treated as learning experience. Grahams experience is born of wanting to be in control of everything and the thing we all have to accept is to let the DMT realm GIVE us what it wants to give us, we are NOT to try and use it to take something. ;)

this is exacty how i felt put into words! the strangeness and unfamiliarity was terrifying. i wanted out but couldn't as i didn't understand what was going on or what i wanted to go back to. however i learnt alot about myself and am still glad i had the experience. i have alot more respect for it now its an experience, a learning curve not a chemical. intense is all i can say.

pure smoked dmt is like teleporting instantly into the deepest end of a ayahuasca/pharmahuasca peak.I havent experience "traditional ayahuasca" but i can imagine it would unfold slower because our bodies braking down the plant matter but puredmt/MAOI tends to be more like a fast shuttle, when it comes on its so quick it is reminiscent of smokedDMT.

It should only really be for experienced hyperspace travellers that know the in's and out's of navigation in this sub-conscious realm.
