It goes against your ethics to vote? That has to be one of the most asinine comments I have ever heard. Second to that would be that you would vote for Ron Paul.
That being said, because Canada is a nation with protections for everyone's right to freedom of speech, religion and politics legislated, you have every right to make asinine statements. So keep right on doing it as it's your right, lol...
No, I think if you're forced to live in a democracy you might as well vote. I mean I hate socialized healthcare but I'll use it anyways. Either way I'm paying for it.
@AsymmetricalWarfare Last Federal, I had no-one to vote for (in a nearby district an ex-judge was running who let off a guy for 'raping' a drunk chick who voluntarily walked into the woods with him, where there were no witnesses - wish I could've voted for him) - in retrospect, the NDP were the closest thing we had to a conservative party, but with the death of Jack Layton, it's all a wash.
Fuck Harper. That man is the worst sort of sociopath. L dude commented on his TTism
Remember in the film version of Starship troopers, the opening lecture about how voting is an exercise of force?
Why not see it like that.

@RobertMcCall2012 *sigh* I suppose it's my duty to vote for Bank Party No 1, or Bank Party No 2?
And FYI, we don't have freedom of speech in Canada; our Human Rights Tribunal likes to ban non-PC speech.
But feel free to keep living in your blue-pill reality; don't worry, the bailouts are helping the economy recover.

Freedom of speech in Canada?
You can google the names Ernst Zundel, Tomasz Winnicki, and Ezra Levant, for starters.
