It's ironic, Rory "dies" three episodes in a row, (Day of the moon, Curse of the black spot, the Doctor's wife) and the next story, he's the only character that doesn't get an on screen death, the Doctor and Amy included.

i agree. i keep saying that. if you count them all up its about 7-8 times, depending on what you would count as death and almost death and sort of death.

The video is missing a death. Rory actually died twice in The Doctor's Wife. Once from old age and once from having his skull bashed in by Nephew.

It's pretty obvious why they kill him. He's supposed to be dead, when he got shot the first time, but because Amy grew up with a crack in her wall, she developed a mild ability to alter the universe, and so brought Rory back as a Roman, and then again as a human. Since then, the Universe has been trying to correct this mistake, which is why the TARIDS can't tell if she's pregnant or not, because Rory's supposed to be dead.

@Myenkeiify So Rory is inside a paradox operating in the style of the one in the film "The Time Machine" (every time the protagonist saves his fiancé she dies in a different way). That makes a horrifying amount of sense.
