  • I think everyone on earth should just see this once.

  • Date an Asian lady #lushfmlk.info#

  • The beauty of this video was completly overwhelming. My face is wet with tears. Bless you dearly!

  • I cant see any hope for us...I wish I could but honestly cant.

  • @bingstar316 It's not about seeing it in anyone else. it's about seeing it in yourself.

  • The new commies sucks big time in Sweden, they are doing violence towards the inhabitants in Sweden, like the muslim terrorists in England or USA or for that matter the stupid cunt IRA in GB.

  • Why?

  • Soical change = a much better world you MORON!!!

  • Can you be more vague, please?

The Nazis and Commies also had a hard-on for "social change."

This is why the phrase "social change" is bullshit.

In fact, any word with "social" in front of it becomes poisoned and emptied of its meaning.

  • You have a point about the Nazis and Commies bringing fucked up change for the worst but this video is about certian movements in the past 100 years that move toward change for the better in terms of civil right and HUMAN RIGHTS!!

  • That's debatable. You have to read between the lines, read the fine print, etc. It's nice to talk about civil rights and human rights, but be very careful - Greeks bearing gifts, you know.

  • gandhi?? due to that son whore's policies towards muslims brought the muslim elite to form a separate the country with mass deportations

  • why do you think there is fighting between people? it's simple because we are not informed and because we are not accepting and trusting and loving. Isn't love that basis of every religion? i don't think that it really matters whether you are Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or Jew, we all believe in the same God. And about Gandhi, i don't know what decision you would have taken in his situation. That's why people should read; to know the truth.

  • Wonderful video choices, and an absoutly perfect job of puting the video to match the audio. Bravo to you for doing such an outstanding job.

  • Bravo ! ! ! Men of honor... men of power... men of courage.

  • Only them but Mother Treasa and Princess Diana!!

  • with thi song, people enter the kingdom of heaven

  • Free Mandela! Just kidding, wonderful stuff by the way.

  • Free Ireland!

  • thankyou for this video. beautiful and sad, yet hopefull

  • I feel that somebody hit my head with a metal baseball bat right now.

From all the videos I have seen so far, this one is exceptional beyond measures.

I am listening to the saddest song of all times, while looking at the most moving images of normal human beings that stood against the most perverse armies with just their fate.

I can't believe people can be so brave.

I can't believe the Devil could be stopped by simple men.

these persons proved it to me!

  • Very inspiring. Sad that most people are unaware that over 60% of the world's population successfully changed their lives through nonviolence in the 20th Century.

In the U.S. are history books show war as the vehicle of change, but don't show that each war just lays the groundwork for the next outbreak of violence.

Thank you for the video. I plan on using it to inspire others.

  • thank you sellaseat!!!!!

  • Whoever made this video is a beautiful person

  • Wow, just, wow...

  • WOW! Are we ever going to learn? this is a masterpiece. Thank you.

  • I think we will, don't ask me how but world peace is coming.

  • "Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend."-MLK, Jr.

"As we let out own light shine, we unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same."Nelson Mandela

"Liberty without learning is always in peril; learning without liberty is always in vain."-JFK

"There are two ways of exerting one's strength; one is pushing down, the other is pulling up."-Booker T. Washington

  • Gandhi es mi heroe

  • such an emmotive piece of music coupled with

a thought provoking video, what beauty and wonder there is in this world, what a beautiful planet we all share for the briefest of moments in time, yet all we do is fight fellow man the human race is surely on a path to destruction.

All in this video fought for peace fought to have a voice but did anybody listen for are we not still fighting race colour creed religion we are all the same underneath

  • I am in tears, tears that keep dripping, down they go, down they go. And I, can't stop them from coming up, I cry. I cry. I share with you my pain, the suffering which binds us together, the will that unites us, the struggle that forces us to move on, I see no other option, but to move on, for you are not alone, out there, never will you be alone. Together we stand, together we hold eachother tightly, arm in arm, in an unbreakable human chain of solidarity.

  • Most likely the most touching video I've seen in my life. Brilliant stuff

  • P.S. This is the most touching song I think I will probably hear in my life

  • was chosen by BBC as the saddest song ever!

  • Think about this. The man who composed this, the great american composer Samuel Barber, was gay. He contributed this work to the world. This was originally the slow movement of his String Quartet in B minor, op.11. The United States still treats Gays with such hatred and refuses to accept them as valuable members of society.

  • That's unfortunately true about several places in the world and not just specific to the gay population. Most of America excepts the gay culture excluding the vast amount of narrow minded southerners who still think the Civil War is going on. It isn't btw. The uneducated and intolerant are the ones who wage war with ourselves as a race and the eventuality of the direction of this hate is on one course, and if you don't know where I'm going with this then you wasted your time reading peeps.

  • this is one of the greatest peaces of art on earth, i think no one will ever be able to compose such thoughtful music again

  • right and this was also a problem for Mr. Samuel Barber - he was always measured by his own piece Adagio for Strings op.11

  • FOR SURE MADE IN HEAVEN

  • This is powerful! thanks for posting it!

  • When President Roosevelt died a radio station in NYC played this repeatedly, a day or two I think.

  • That's correct. That is why the music is usually associated with death and mourning. In actuality, Barber wrote this a piece to make people think.

  • my opinion, I don't think with death. I think is a Hommage to life.

They played this part also by the funeral of Mr. JFK, Grace Kelly, Mr. Einstein....

  • CBS Radio also played it immediately following the official announcement of JFK's death.

  • Yes; I also remember it being played as President Kennedy lay in state. I cannot hear this composition without being moved to tears.

  • That was a very touching video. Love the music and the message on never ever giving up on world peace!!Just Like what John Lenin" you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one" I feel the same way and I BELIEVE THAT WORLD PEACE WILL VERY SOON!!!!

  • *Lennon. Lenin was a communist. In Communist Russia education lacks you!

  • I almost feel speechless when hearing this music. It's very sad, but it actully has me feel the pain of those who chose to never give up on bringing peace and love all people. I'm not saying that I don't like Adagio. I like it because it's so strong on how it also has me understand about sacrifices people choose to make. Man I'll never forget the ones like William Wallace, Howard Hughes, Luther King, Evita, Princess Diana and Mother Tereasa.

  • touching ^^

  • Powerful. moving! NC

  • Wonderful haunting music and video - Peace on earth to all.

  • This music is celestial...An ode to the harmony of the universe. However, the video doesn't fit much.Ένα πραγματικό αριστούργημα...

  • Wundervoll, die stärkste Kraft des Universums= Liebe

  • exelente

  • Exelente, es la sinfnis mas triste quehay y al momento la mejor..........

  • Exelente, es la sinfonia mas triste que existe, y a la vez la mejor

  • this is so amazing good job

  • Every time I hear it I just can't help experiencing a deep sadness. It's as if the music carries within itself all the pain and suffering of the whole world.

There are "powerful" musics and this is certainly one of them, for me at least!

  • I totally agree. I always want to cry when I hear this song, yet I love this piece.

  • thanks alot

  • Too bad americans are to blind to see trough the mirror, jut to find out that their mistakes have been in them all along.

Only the americans can stop themselves, its time to make the difference and not to be manipulate by selfishness, goverments, and news.

    God save´s america.

But, have they listen to God?

  • I am moved by this beautiful music every time I hear it, the tears flow freely.

I am forunate to have musically talented children that were given the honor of playing this piece while in MS & HS... This music allows all raw emotions to flow... A most appropriate time for me, after just having burried our son's Best Friend... only 27 years of age.
