What's interesting though is the speed at which professional guitarists seem to switch guitars, hahaha. Notice how at the beginning of the video he carries a white guitar, and when he takes a bow, he still carries the white guitar, and then he suddenly has another guitar =P Or are my eyes malfunctioning?

No, it's the same guitar through out. There is a white strip that runs along the edge of it but you can only see it from the side view. Maybe that's what you saw.

No, she's right. At the beginning of this clip, he's holding and bowing with the white not-stratocaster (I can't remember what brand it is at the moment, but it's not an actual Fender Strat). This is a professional video, though, so they've just used an audience shot to edited out the part where the roadie hands him his Turner Renaissance Amplicoustic with a smooth transition. =)

there was an awesome version on here which was just him and it was clear what he was playing, but it's been forcibly removed. typical.

he plays this in open g tuning D-G-D-G-B-D, although in this clip it's up a step, so chuck a capo on the first fret and it's in key.

first chord is appegio X00200 then he moves to a X9X08X hammering off to X9X07X and back on. I won't post the whole thing here but that should give you a start.
