why not just do lots of dips? dips work your triceps very well. its a more natural motion than dumbel-kicks, less risk of elbow injury too, I think. you CAN train different part of the triceps by angling your body forward or outward while doing dips.
@BluesMachineLive yeah but you start with the same thats what hes saying. would look really weird if you upset the ratio, some guys do train them differently for boxing/mma. triceps punch so they go for power and endurance, where as biceps choke so they go for strength. depends what your goals are i guess.
@BluesMachineLive If you just train your triceps you'll have more triceps development then biceps development but this would take years to actually wreck the ratio and cause potential injury.
The funny part is, I know you party the second you get out of work:) You're a double standard....Also I could have been training with sports and grown more, lol. If you actually eat more you may see some gains.
lol dude i know this song, and i frikin forgot the name of it, haha guess wat i rememberd after 5 mins its remember the name by fort minor and i know u wrote this a month ago u probly forgot wat u said
I naturally have thin arms but if I want to do exercises like this vid I think I should be eating alot of stuff in addition. Any suggestions on food intake?
consume more protein and water, that's basically what muscles are made of. Have a protein shake (make sure it's a healthy one, not those ones in ads that are loaded with shit) right after you workout. The protein goes into the blood and flows to where the blood is flowing *the muscles you just worked out*
eggs, lean beef, and fats(olive oil is good). to gain weight eat a big bowl of ice cream every night right before you go to bed. i gained four pounds per week.
It's an old wives tale that it stunts your growth. Someone sometime probably tried to deadlift a few hundred pounds as a weak teenager, destroyed a few disks in their spine and then never developed properly. Just be smart about it.
thats bullshit, technically walking all daw 'stunts' your growth. You're taller when you first wake up in the morning because the spine isnt compressed. Plus you really shouldnt be lifting weights if you're still in your early stages of puberity when you go through a groth spurt.
I don't know but remember, you can always buy a set of dumbels and do all kinda excercises at home. I go to the gym once a week and have 1 set of dumbels and I can train all kinda things pretty well, though, for looking like him, get a gym membership and go like 5 days a week for 45-60 minutes. I think.
i find for best results, is a 2 day rest period between intense upper body, as u become more experience i would say 3 times a week with a 1 day rest, remember ur muscles grwo while you are resting and if u work them to much u wont give them to grow
Try starting off 3 days a week, if you can. If you are working out, and you absolutely CAN NOT get into it, and your body isn't into it, listen to it. Your body will tell you when you've had enough.
If you wanted to get a gym membership you could probably go for 3/4 days a week with a day inbetween and build up to 5 later when your body is more used to working out...but try to give yourself two days of rest a week so your body can recover... but before you go you might want to start looking at a good nutrition plan and make yourself a good starter routine to build off of if you really want your work to be effective
If you don't give each muscle group sufficient rest, you'll hit a plateau. If you keep working out some more, you'll slowly but surely start losing strength.
I speak from personal experience...that's the most depressing feeling ever!
hey i would go about 3 times a week mon wes fri cause your body need about 48 hours to recover if you do a full body work out but if you do like arms one day than legs and core another proble like 5 days a week
these are some new exercises that ive never seen before. I've sorta made a tricep routine, tell me what you think. I start of with close grip skull crushers(i usually do 10 reps) then i go right into a close grip bench press (10 reps). I do that 3 times. Rest. Then i pick up again with tricep dips on a bench with my feet elevated. And depending on how i feel i try for 3 sets of 15 reps...FYI im a big fan, love the podcasts that you did, would love to see some more.
I like that workout you made. Once my new blog is done (hopefully in 1-2 days) I'll be back podcasting about 2-3 times per got. Got big things going on...

i dont understand how everyone has the same proportion of biceps to triceps... surely if you work you biceps this ratio would change??
BluesMachineLive 1 year ago
@BluesMachineLive Yes... but your arm would look like shit. The idea is to keep this ratio and grow bigger arms.

u need protein. u need to drink a protein shake or eat a lot of meat and eggs
flyweezy1234 2 years ago
Obviously yo need to take in a lot of protein. But the most important part is that u don't just eat 3 meals a day, but more like 6 smaller meals.
Things that work well besides protein shakes, are oatmeal, fish, chicken breast, beef and eggwhites
Kaanh06 2 years ago
i suggest eating steroids for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Wow, look at this guy. He's sure doing something right. I heard that muscle building is the way to lose fat, too, because you burn calories.
joycejjames 2 years ago
you do that more effectively by keeping your heart rate high for 20 consecutive minutes (i.e cardio) ...sad but true unfortunately.
nenna69 2 years ago
Muscle building does burn calories. Also, your body continues to burn calories after training during recovery and growth

Muscle building takes time to make, the muscle tissue builds over another. lets put it this way. you have a wound, its trying to heal
what if you keep hurting the wound.
itll make the wound deeper.
as for muscles, itll deteriorate
