Are you referring to the recording at the very beginning or June Anderson's performance? If you meant the latter, if you don't care for June Anderson's voice, then that's your opinion. But Adelina Patti's voice was more that of a dramatic coloratura soprano, and as there are few modern representations of that today - June Anderson is as close as you can get a better idea of the kind of voice that she had. Although of course, she never sounded, as far as we know, exactly like June.

Oh wow, I never knew there was a video documentary on Adelina Patti. This is just wonderful to see. It really gives us a better idea and, perhaps, appreciation for the great singers of the 19th Century.
