I am not exactly sure what you're asking but I'll give it my best shot. The multi-cable your are talking about isn't a DMX cable, it is simply a splitter with duplex jacks for power. Most electronics retailers will sell them, we bought ours at Radioshack.
The big remote has the same functions as the small version with no special benefit when used on these units. The big remote is used for other units too and that is where the other functions on the remote are used.
hi im thinking of buying some of these off some 1 in america and i live in the uk the ones im thinking of getting have the normal bulbs in will i need anything to make them work on the voltage over here with out breaking them?

The E27 and GU10 base units will work with any voltage from 110v -240v without any problem.
