When was a person giving criticism considered being a jerk? He gave a compliment, and then gave him constructive advice. It was straight forward and blunt, but those are the comments that make people better musicians! Everything he said was true, so this musician probably learned from it and is now better.
Some ability and you can play. This song though sounded painful. It was dreary, and totally lacking in any presence. Sorry but if you post your stuff expect these comments. Not a good number for your band, bad choice.
