  • I'm going to Puerto Rico for spring break this year from winnipeg does anyone know how far of a flight it is?

  • @indianabulls5 It's almost 3 hours. not that long if you keep your self busy.

  • it takes like 2 and a half hours from florida...

  • just like el plaza de caguas

  • I was born in Ponce. Man,I remember those streets! :D I love visiting so much.. Its so nostalgic watching this video. I remember when I was a kid :)

    Good times. <3

  • I would like to travel to Puerto Rico San Juan.Is it cheap or very expensive city?I like alot Latin America and I have visited many times:Mexico City,San Jose,Costa Rica,Guayaquil,Ecuador...Those citys are very cheap to me because I am Scandinavien people. Is there in San Juan,Puerto Rico nice weather December-January?

  • @CUMJEANS: We booked a rather inexpensive package from Canada to Puerto Rico. Please check various online providers for flight and hotel costs. Packages are usually cheaper than booking separately. The climate is nice year-round. For additional info consult wikitravel. Good luck...

  • @CUMJEANS Might be a late reply, but the cost of living here is pretty expensive compared to most of the USA. The best time to visit are around those times, December-February since it's around the time of our coolest climate, and it's still pleasent to go to the beach and to have a fantastic time with the family.

  • tribe of ephraim

  • PONCE ES PONCE Y LO DE MAS ES PALKIN' JAJAJAJ xD

  • Made me dizzy moving that camera back and forth like that. Slow it down...

  • When staying in San Juan, is the public transportaion like bus, trolley, taxi, and just walking good enough to get to most of the tourist spots and get around? Or do you recommend renting a car?

  • @geneva1999 well if your staying in san juan u can get around by taxi or bus,or foot...but if u wanna explore the island definately rent a car....and like i say...its an island,u cant get lost,lol...

  • @geneva1999 if your in old san juan you can go by foot...but to see the rest of the island you need a car...in puerto rico everyone drives

  • @icyhot000 Which is why I want to move back to the states. I love this island but I'm just not a driver, I'm very nervous behind the wheel and I just simply don't like it, which in PR automatically makes me seem like the weirdest person ever cause kids here learn how to drive at age 14. I was made for cities that connect by trains and buses and where you can get a cab anywhere. It's the only down side to this island, you have to be a driver and you have to have your own car.

  • @Kay2be2M Aqui se guia a los 18 y con permiso a los 16/We drive here until 18 or 16 during parent permission

  • @annelisse16 yeah but I mean kids in places like in los barrios and parcelas. I see most kids already at 14 driving their parents car without a permit cause there aren't any police here in el campo who are going to stop them. They're dying to start driving so early and yet I don't want to drive at all! lol! By the time they get their permit they already have like 2 years driving experience. And El tren urbano helps a little but it's no where near enough to get to most places.

  • @Kay2be2M There is the train Urbano that travels all the Metro Area!

  • mi ponce q lindo!!!

  • Ponce no hay nada !

  • The people from Puerto Rico is very friendly and helpful by nature,we don't teach to hate and discriminate like in the U.S. where the people is very hostile.

  • @julius5551

    maybe 20 years ago...

  • always 99 dollars? is that what she said? nobody would buy there!

  • Yeap im from over there, that street is called Paseo Atocha

  • seems that streets in Sj Puerto rico are so clean...

Thats only one street from the center of the Town, and there are many more streets to keep looking and in Ponce, ther's so much more to see out of the center of the town. It's a very big city!!

  • i rather b part of USA dan any other country....Come On face da reality ya diks r juz jealous of puerto rico....puerto rico #1dond kiera q vayas ... no es la culpa d nosotro q en tu pais no aigan casas d bloke y cemento jajaja

  • For the ignorant folks watching this video, Puerto Ricoa became and american territory as a result of the Spanish AMerican Was in 1898. We later were converted to Estado Libre Asociado which basically means "Associated Frees State" Time has come for the island to either become a state or declare its freedom and become independent. ALL Puerto Ricans are america citizens as Puerto Rico IS a part of the United States.

  • look your asss is not like alaska or hawaii dumbo puerto rico is part od u.s. that's all we have are own miss univers and goverment not like alaska and hawaii learn more ass hole!

  • Is this Atocha? I haven't being to Puerto Rico in more than 17-years.

  • Yeah, That's "atocha" street in "el pueblo" in ponce. I remenber that was the place to shop!! Vilarino, pitusa, la sirena, la gloria, ha,ha, that street was open to car traffic, now with the openings of the plaza del caribe mall, and big chain like wal-mart supercenters, those stores are history! thanks for the memories!!

  • Fucking gringos ruining our PR space...STAY IN UR OWN COUNTRY!

  • Idiot! Learn History before commenting. that way you won't look so stupid. Puerto Ricans ARE AMERICANS.

If you don't want the gift of American citizenship then you will have to work for it and create AND support you own.

Which for what I have seen you can do shit except kill each others, collect Food Stamps and... yep, Kill each other.

  • LOL! sence when puertoricans are americans? learn you'r history idiot....america owns PR, like they do to alaska and hawaii..just because they planted a base inthose places they automaticly assume is theres, like marking there teritory...like america is tryin to do in other spots...why do you think all the rest of the world hates america? why you think there in iraq?..there excuses is "there trying to help" mean while there secretly taking over...idiot...

  • Since 1917 MORON, again go read a book and learn something!

  • are you in drugs dude?

  • Americans are all the people that born since La Patagonia until Alaska. Because to honor of Americo Vespucio (an spanish who wrote about the suposely Colon's Discovery of a new, but already with people living there, world). The result of a war with Spain is a proof of non justice to Puerto Rico. i dont have interest to be part of other nation having my own. But you must learn to respect the puertoricans like we do with Amsterdan or US. We have the North American citizenchip and rigths. Shit up

  • puerto rican are definetly AMERICANS..

  • why?

  • we are not fucking americans, we may be citizens but we dont consider ourselves as americans so dont fucking call us americans ok? thanks :)

  • Yes we are...

  • Dile que asi es......

  • hahaha she said, always 99 dollars...and its 99 cents!

  • Your pseudo-anthropological ramblings are extremely offensive--Ponce was once "up to par"--before a bunch of ethnocentric tourists robbed it of its elegance. Thank you for contributing to its decline. If only that officer would place you under arrest. **On behalf of all Ponceños at home and abroad.***

  • I love mi isla PUERTO RICO!

  • Is that all that's different?? And what do you mean more friendly there??

  • people are so much different and friendly

  • You can't really compare a Latin American country with the US States; no matter what political status Puerto Rico has, it's still a latin country. That said, unless you're maybe in the Bronx, here you have that mogongo, morcilla, pitorro smell in every street. Also salsa, merengue and bachata music in every "esquina". You you think you'll find some chinchorro in Utah? San Juan might be similar to some cities in the US, but outside San Juan is an entirely different world.

  • What do you mean by Latin American country? Have you traveled to lets say Ecuador? Argentina? Mexico? Chile? Brazil? How they look? How do you think they look? LOL.

  • that was for gunner1818

  • OF COURES THERE ARE SIMLARITY BUT THAT JUST ONE PART OF PUERTORICO, BUT PUERTORICO IS VERY MUCH DIFFERNT THEN THE STATES. i LIVED THERE, BUT YEAS THEY HAVE ALOT OF STORES THAT ARE IN THE us.

  • @sctflasher379 everything

  • its different. its an island, in the carribean and the cultute, n the people are alot friendlier than here in the us. i love PR.

  • Siiiiiiii....!! LOL!

  • nice place, do you have more from Puerto Rico??

  • Ok! you are right it's not Caguas, but those stores in Puerto Rico look alike. Sorry, it is Ponce.

  • This not Ponce. It's in Caguas, street Ponce.

    Please make correction

  • This is in Ponce. Shes close to Parque de Bombas there.

  • I spent a few hours in Ponce this August and found the place to be delightful. There was a small festival taking place on the walk near the beach. Had some good food at one of the kiosks near the boat club.

Go visit P.R. Rent a car and drive the island. Stop in every little place and meet the people. You won't need to speak Spanish, Puerto Ricans care about their guests and you will feel at home where ever you go. Spend a few days there and you will be Puerto Rican forever!
